Diablo - My brothers and I would take turns playing this and thinking about different strats and all sorts of things... I fell in love with the catacomb and cave maps and really love the old storybook voice that was used to tell the story. One of the more memorable things is that my brother had this silly name for his Mage "Gontuninsarus"
Diablo II - Definitely the taking advantage of people and playing with friends in High School and Middle School. Getting used to how the internet worked pretty much took place in this game and everquest exclusively, but this game is the first where things got REAL on the net.
Starcraft - Adding this in cause I have this one really nostalgic moment to share. I was sick, real sick with a fever or some such and I couldn't even play it was so bad. So I sat in a nice big recliner with blankets all over me and I watched them fight eachother. I think it was around when Brood War shipped because my brother took the other one by surprise with dark templar in a jungle map and it was just so hilarious.
Junotekh's suggestion is good, you could also get cryo meteor (runed), I would suggest trying to get an armor in their somehow. Frost nova is quite fun (read good) as well, worth noting.
Cool build idea.
I would replace Vault for Caltrops. Those little things can slowdown oponents in the arrow for a really, really long time, allowing you to easilly apporach then one by one and making it easy to aim grenades and spike traps.
Yeah I definitely have much respect for Caltrops, It'd probably receive a few tweaks after gameplay. My other DH build revolved around caltrops and a turret for healing, very control centric play all around. I am planning to play hardcore pretty hardcore <_<
I think they could have tied some sort of cultural feminism to her to tie her a bit more to that role, but honestly it doesn't matter much, in the end she smashes things, you're going to be wearing tons of armor and crap anyway so you'll likely not see much of her anyway.
Idk though, wasn't planning on playing barb very early either, although their builds do look very well put together. If anything I am most interested in tanking for hardcore.
I think it's a nice build idea, specially for coop (blend will prevent enemies from attacking your allies).
I just think Hammer of the Ancients + Whirlwind in the same build is a waste. Both are fury intensive, both are used in very similar circustances and theres no way you can make a good use of both skills at the same time.
You should replace one of those for a buff skill, a single target centered skill or a debuff/cc. This will add more diversity to your character without hurting his damage output.
My tip is: remove Hammer of the Ancients and put in Earthquake. This skill will rpovide you with uber attack when things gets grim.
Yeah maybe one of the shouts, they have some really good armor buffs and snares in some of the shout skills.
If you keep hammer, get a defensive buff shout, or one that cuts the enemies damage. If you keep whirlwind, consider a snare.
You guys are thinking way too complicated, he doesn't have to possess the kid just get rid of him/hide him and change his form. While either could be true, the former is certainly easier to do.
I've spun the idea around in my head that the Angels will get pissed at us as well by the end of this game and we'll wind up seeing a 3 way war as there are definitely a lot of angels that could give a rats ass about sanctuary. Also, it's worthy of note, that Diablo isn't particularly fond of Azmodan, so I could see a twist where Leah actually uses the dark soulstone on herself to save humanity through the use of diablo's powers, where in later expansions we'll kill her off to end the series for whatever reason Blizzard decides is valid.
All of this sounds very exciting, even if it is a little cliche. I think such a story line with how Leah is coming off thus far will really strike a chord with the players. Her design and animations seem to emanate a sense of caring for her quite well (the female leads the horror story type deal).
I am also interested to see how the breaking of the worldstone affects the human race throughout the game, if they touch on it, cause we should begin to regain the powers that the nephalem had.
Edit: Like traps and ranged stuff, I'd prefer to keep the bastards off me is all. I think most people could see that being preferable in times like these.
Yeah because everything is a major corporate conspiracy, right?
Tel, have you listened to the last few Actibliz investor CCs and earnings CCs?
Listen to that Tippl guy for a few minutes on 'monetization' then get back to us on the subject.
In the bigger picture, is the rush towards the panopticon elements of the Facebook trend a conspiracy, or just a corporate herd mentality? That's hard to say. But what's obvious to me is that the goodwill of gamers was the foundation of the billions WoW has made, and sacrificing that in any way is just stupid.
God forbid the company making you games should desire some sort of economic satiation from you. IF you have a problem with the direction of their games, the only way to make a statement that will count is to not buy/support them. You can complain on the forums all you want about corporate greed, but we all stand to win if Blizzard is making more money.
Sidenote: Funny that someone named Gheed is complaining about greed, just thought it was kind of ironic

Good times.
Sometimes I read his posts and I just have no idea why he's posting at all.

What do you guys think about this build? Not focused on using bow weapons, but rather daggers and having a relatively dagger centric theme altogether.
I'm pretty sure none of these skills require a bow/xbow to use.
Thanks in advance for your opinion.

Really? An LOLPOSTCOUNT response? I guess we're done here.
Shame on me for joining the forums and posting I guess.
