Maybe a Rune Stone has a Symbol or number on it which doesn't mean anything.. and maybe they might come in different colors which still doesn't make them very special and just maybe they might have it so you have to find the rune first before you put the stone in it to make it work.
or it could be a big dragon like creature with lots of heads for people to get onto. and its body becomes concealed in the lava until they get closer to the boss area, then they all get on his back.. and yeah would then feel like an island.. if it was an island they could make parts of the island crumble off.. making it much harder for a player.
Yeah or there is a river of lava and the first section of that area you goto do a quest to get the beast, then once your on him you go down the lava stream having to get off him now and again to clear some paths that Diablo's minion's have set up, just so you can jump back on your beast and venture further down the lava stream (or a better name River of flames) And at the base of the stream you fight a boss while on your beast.. be cool seeing burning skeletons coming out of the lava and pull themselves up on your beasts back trying to get you and while all thats going on you have a boss trying to knock you off into the lava.
Id like to see that guy who dresses up in a black robe, and is well know as death. would be cool as a monster and trying to kill him since he is already dead. Well apart from that id like to see big creatures, more bosses like a flame hydra or zombie dragon.. or something cool..
I have a job.. so you can't flame me on that aspect of being bored Mr. Smashboy. Plus everyone plays a game differently fair enough you enjoyed the game and probably still do. however i preferred the original Diablo 1 game more then it's sequel, reasons as documented in my post above. Plus i should be asking you Mr.Smashboy, do you get bored of life, is that why you play games to escape reality? after all you'd probably know the ins and out to the whole diablo 2 game by now.. if you do then i applause you.
You kidding me, diablo 2 as a coop game? lol I never had any dramas in passing the game on my own, just tiresome and boredom got to me after awhile as i was constantly doing the same old quests over and over again.. yawn.. so you should be saying diablo 2 was a game that made you bored after the first difficulty.. realising you had to do all the quests you just did, again.. then id agree with you.
I think customization in the way of hair styles and what someones face looks like isn't really a major factor, as it would really depend on how far or how close you will be able to see your characters face with all that action of fighting going on.. fair enough if it was similar to other big MMO-RPG games out there, where you could stand in town looking at everyones hair styles, eye sockets and faces.. getting a cool vibe about customization the game provides to its players, but frankly Id just be happy to see the new changes that take place when i equip some new armor, or a helm and actually see some difference from my previous helm or armor that i was wearing. More skin images on players i say..
I'm rather worried about this game, after all Diablo 2 didn't go so well as they had of hoped. and it would pain me to see such a great game with all its elements of a great storyline go down the drain if they presume the same concept of Diablo 2. But from what i have been reading it sounds rather interesting i just hope blizzard can keep up to it's demands from it's fans otherwise i know there is going to be a lot of disappointed people out there. Including me.
I for one am hoping they fix the annoying pre-set quest objectives. I had more fun on the original Diablo 1 game, never knowing what quest i might get next compared to the likes of Diablo 2, so i am hoping the blizzard people know what they are doing and i hope this new title will live up to all there promises to there fans.. again unlike diablo 2 did.
