First "huh?" was Glad questioning you saying you can't wait for the Necro, since there will not be a Necro in D3 ever, as Witch Doctor took it's place.
Second "huh?" was to Glad's "huh?" because you didn't understand why he was "huh?"ing at you.

Diablo 3 was announced before they would even work on their game. How much time do you think a game needs to take in place at first. Blizzard have been working a lot on this game to make sure to not repeat the same error and trying a different gameplay. They did not start working on this game since 2003-04 or something. Since they announced the game way before it let everybodies think it is a super slow progression to be released. But people can't take consideration of this and post forums over and over instead of evaluating.
I'm trying to pick between either frenzy for its output dmg (+speed) or cleave for ultra fury generation in most of my builds.

As a reminder, Frenzy is a fury generator that gives 3 fury per attack, this attacks does 100% dmg weapon, it also increase your attack speed. 15% Per application that is, to a maximum of 75% ( 5 stacks)
My question is this one : How long does that speed attack effect last if you are able to stack it? My guess would be around 3-5sec. However there is no mention on this.
Also the crimson runestone increase 15% damage per application up to 75 as well i presume. Does this work for your overall damage? Or only when you hit with frenzy?
amen! couldnt agree more. people make me laugh when they say "ya its not comign out till Q4 at the earliest, prolly 2013 and truly believe that. they will get a big ass surprise next month when they announce the release
I know what you mean, I spoke with 2 guys saying blizzard was doing this to get their attention and wouldnt really release it at all, Those guys obviously have no idea all the effort Blizzard have put so far on this game. So it is 100% not fake as the jerk I talked to were saying. Also they keep updating spells and armors which also takes a lot of time.
Hopefully we get a release date the 9th of february.

It all depends how eager you are to play this game and how dedicated to the game you are.
If you planned playing D3 because you are bored with all mmo and rpg,fps which ever you usually play, you are probably going to wait an average of 2-3months until you find another game that comes out that you may or may not stick with it. If you used to play D2 for a good while you may wait until the release whenever it is with only one thing in mind: As long as the game comes out I'm fine with it.
I dont see anything overpowered standing there for a whole 3min-ish. It would be like calling witch doctor's pet OP because they kill the first boss inside 3-4min.
Edit: On a side note; this boss is made to be killed within few attacks so even if the thorn looks like hitting much it isnt at all in fact. Any spell of that barb would do double even triple that damage pulled of thorn.
Maybe you forgot how hard it is to gear a player to have best items in the game in order to pvp. Losing a character would be way to harsh to a player especially people will put time and money on their characters. But if its for competition with a good price at the end I would imagine it possible
Although there is no AH on hardcore gear itself will be hard to find.
As I was reading some other forums saying there isnt a gcd I wonder how will it work in a fight? It doesnt make sense that you can pop almost everything in same time as long as you have resources left.
If someone can confirm that there isnt any gcd after casting a spell it would be nice since I don't have the beta. It would make DoT really strong as well.
Can we wait to have D3 first before talking about expansion?
Also, blizzard better not bring a WoW class to D3, they better not...That includes the monk.
Decent in average for PvE but it would be boring and not efficient for boss fight. You will have to cast haunt every 3 sec and wait until another haunt and revive your pets between haunts.
Unruned they sound quite animeless spells. Give those spells you named with some of their funny runestone they seems nice to me.Let's say plague of toads ; you give it the obsidian one, toad of hugeness to swallow a whole ennemy for 5 second to digest them into some damage. Great crowd control with damage.
To answer your question. I don't like having multiple micro damage for pvp. Although it is as much effiecient in Pve to have slow high damage or quick low damage. The dps stays the same in fact. As our spells are far to be super high damage if you put WD next to barb by example, I wish we had some cooldown with high hit to 'burst' so far we have spirit walk with crimson. this one is amazing but i feel it will be nerf soon. How I still love that class for its originality and definitely going to play it.
I would use spirit barrage with the manitou runestone (alasbater i think) for a spectre pet, last a lil longer than the mother spider and also have double dmg ( i am not aware of the spectre cast rate althought but should be near 1 aps) and mana cost almost half the spider one.
