I find AMD to be more reliable, I used to work in a computer service shop, and we'd always recommend AMD over Intel. All the computers I have ever had/built had AMD processors. ATM I'm running on the AMD Athlon II x4 620.
woot! good one esp. if it is as you say bout the lack of experience. all in all: good drawing! \m/
Thank you very much
I got my tablet early last year and didn't use it very often, not as much as I hoped. I was hopeless at painting so I kinda gave up and only did a few sketches, then decided to see what I can do now and am starting to get the hang of it.
Fallen Shaman.
Again, I know it has it's faults, it was a really hard perspective to work on Especially because I have so little experience.
The most difficult part was probably the head.
All in all I think it is a fair effort.
Welcome back Kamrad, a lot has changed since you left. Glad to see you posting again.
This troll looks familiar, dis you post a sketch of this painting before? Either way, I love the coloring of it. I also like the expression on his face. And I have to admit, I have tried doing flames and they never turn out as good as yours. Awesome piece (I finally have something new to put in the fan art section of the community spotlight).
Haha, thank you Scyber I can see quite a bit has changed, and you guys were in need of some fn art
Yes I did post the sketch of the Troll earlier, along with a sketch of a Fallen Shaman.
I'm glad you like it Scyber.
With the flames I drew the three main colour first, yellow (bottom), orange (middle) and dark orange/reddy (top), used the smudge tool smudged them together, then used a brush that is similar to a rake, and brushed the outside of the flames to give it a sort of wavy look Then dodge tool to add a few more highlights and shit.
The way the guy is holding the mace is all wrong dude
Yeah I know haha, like I said, 'there are many ways I can improve it'
Also it doesn't even look like the end of the mace is attached to the wooden bit.
Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've posted anything on DFans, so to resurrect myself, I decided to post up some art I've been work on the last few hours.
It's nothing amazing, I haven't practised with my tablet ever since I first got it, and lately I've been really bored so I went through some old sketches and decided to finish something off for once.
In my opinion it is a pretty good first attempt And I'll be to continue my practise.
I know there are many ways I can improve it, but I kinda rushed so I could just get it out. The background was also very rushed
Hope you like it!
EDIT: Not sure about you guys but the quality of the image kinda went shit after I uploaded it to tinypic
Dungeon Siege 1, was my most favourite game at one stage, for a looong time. I thought it was fucking amazing. I loved the multiplayer especially. Though the game kinda lost me when DS 2 came out, it just didnt feel like the same game.
I shall be waiting for more to come out for DS 3
Hey everyone! Lately I have felt the need to make background on photoshop, so I pieced together a lot of things I know and created this background. It didn't take very long, the hardest part must've been creating the padlock using different shapes stuck together and stuff.
I'm not sure if this is the right section to post it up, it can be Diablo related in a way, if you make up something haha.
I currently only have it in one size, my monitor's resolution - 1920 x 1080, unless it gets reduced automatically.
I've tried looking for some simple tutorials to follow, though I am still having trouble finding any.
I just new a few tutorials that help me with shading and shading techniques.
If anyone knows of any, please let me know :]
Do I win?

Yeah I tried to give him a quirky style/look
Thank you very much

Thank you! It really means a lot
I'll be sure to come out with more in the future.
