WTH, you can't play a minotaur in WoW!!! Taurens are not minotaurs!!! Taurens are their own race!!! ARGH!!! Stop dissing the WC universe for no reason!!!
He wasn't dissing the WC universe at all.
MinoTAUR. TAURen. minoTAURen. It's the same thing -- they just changed the name to "Blizzify" it.
Besides, there are no "minotaurs" in the Warcraft universe, only Tauren.
Haha the age thing never bothered really bothered me. For some reason, if the game makes me choose the appearance of my character I always make them look like a guy in his mid-fifties.
I'm sure there's some disturbing Freudian reasoning behind this, but I honestly don't want to know it.

I dunno...I feel like having 0/1 skills (like WoW) really can limit building. I mean, sure, there are common specs in D2 that many players use, but there is a lot of room for variety for players who want to try something different and still have a viable character.
In WoW, on the other hand, skills seem to fall into the "nearly but not completely useless" and "if you don't get this skill, you're severely gimping yourself" categories -- there isn't a lot of middle ground. I just don't want that to happen.
Well they wanted to give us something familiar and the barb was the best choice. Pure melee dps.
There is always one pure melee dps.
(When I say dps, I know all Diablo characters are dps I just mean he doesn't use a shield)
He has some new skills to so it makes it more interesting.
Yeah, you have a good point. There are only so many archetypes for characters, so no matter what you do some aspects of them are going to be derivative.

Haha, we're on the same frequency. That beard is just too much.

Sounds a little bit similar to what a Witch/Warlock would be like to me.

I can't imagine they would change it to pay-to-play system, but stranger things have happened.

And I hope they keep synergies.

Yes, we know that more brightly colored areas are a "slap in the face" to Diablo purists.
Yes, we know that "color is your friend" and is being used to improve the game world instead of letting it stagnate.
You know what I think? I think Blizzard needs to release more info so there will finally be something else we can talk about.
I particularly like the picture they included with the article
