I got my first soj from a random player who just gave it to me. I found my second SoJ from a baal run (one of many runs). I put them both on my lightning sorceress, makes me feel nostalgic.

Also I just think that it's healthy to eat any kind of fruit or vegetable. Someone name one where a study was done and it was found to actually be bad for you. I don't think such a thing of nature exists.

Have you ever eaten an Onion like an Apple? I know some people that do xD
I've eaten the inside couple of layers, squeezing out of the next layer onto the plate (it was at home), it was so weird there are sooo many layers. But I don't like onions enough to even contemplate doing that lol

No I hate that analogy :P. Also it's spelt lustre.
I guess I know what you mean. To me, as there are finite items in the game, it can be rather obvious what the 'best' item is for your build in a specific slot. Working hard and say... finding those items means they'll never lose their 'lustre', they're a diamond in the rough, so to speak, and you'll love them so much it hurts. This here alludes to your analogy without using women as the focal point as I just think that's... wrong.
However the best items will indeed lose their lustre if you just buy them all straight after getting your character to lvl 60.
I never saw any sort of item elitistry in Diablo 2, no one would say "Your Bonehew Ogre Axe sucks why don't you upgrade to an ebotd warpike?", simply because that kind of item is both extremely rare and extremely valuable, no one actually expects people to have the best gear really. Atleast not in Diablo 2.

ahhhhhh this reminds me of geometric progression's that we did earlier in maths. There will be thousands if not millions of players playing this game, the first rank 14 gem will come quite quickly.

Though I do really like the background

It'd be funny if no one got it in the first minute.
