#1 Reason: Because I paid for this game, therefore I am entitled to play it to its full potential and features.
The only way I can do that is to try out all the classes and its respective male/female gender. I have tried each class during open beta, and each class/gender feels, looks, and sounds different. Skills, voices, armors, animations, maps/monster encounters, loots, etc etc is unique per playthrough.
Deeply satisfied with the beta. I prefer to play the melee classes, but I had a lot of fun with each class. I thought the demon hunter will be boring but it was not. First playthrough with each characters, I find the monk to be easiest to finish with (maybe because of the teleporting skills).
The "slim/feminine" Diablo may be just one of his normal/revival form after overtaking someone's body. I think his final form of terror is still yet to be revealed. It might be similar to D3 bosses have a rage mode when their health is at a certain point (reference: D3 first gameplay video).
I'm hoping for a demonic fusion of Diablo, Mephisto, & Baal!

No reason NOT to play each class/gender.
Though I won't be joining any party or be in multiplayer mode until I finish Normal mode and savor the game.
