To GreenWins: If your talking about the small thing where Game DVD is written that contain the game DVD, then there is no game key there, the only numbers I see are a series of 8 numbers which is probably some kind of serial number related to the printing.
I have the regular edition that cost 59,99 and here what was in the box:
- The game DVD of course
- 3 diablo 3 guest pass and 1 for WOW
- A lot of paper to take note if I feel like it
- A quick start guide which show how to install and battle.net related stuff and it say I need to locate my diablo 3 26-digit game key inside the retail box and I can't find it anywhere.
I'm starting to think that there might have been some errors when it was made. I will probably have go back to the shop tomorrow.
I bought Diablo 3 today, and when I started to install it from the dvd, I am told that I will have to link my battle.net account to it, but how do you do this, when I want to add a games to my account I can only enter a code or key, but where is that code or key on the retail box?
Recently I decided I should try to remember/find my diablo 2 battle.net account because its very likely I will need it for diablo 3, but here my problem, I think I found my account information, but it been inactive for a very very long time and I tried getting on battle.net with diablo 2(LOD), but when I tried, there was a message related to inactive account for 90 day, but I could not read the rest of the message because i'm using a french version of the game and the message is cut off so I don't know what you need to do when your account have been inactive. Could someone tell me what I need to do and/or what was the rest of the message.

Adria is in fact Lilith who managed to get in sanctuary without anyone knowing and Leah is a tool made for a very specific purpose like killing someone/demon for real or to somehow gain access to heaven or maybe a way to protect the people of santuary so see can use them eventually.
After Diablo is dead, next game about santuary start: Lilith War.
After 3-4 month the person who made the program have decided to continue to do something but this time he will form a team to work on it. I don't know if there really be a new version one day but I hope there will be.
In Diablo 3, beside the stronger weapon and armor, will the nightmare and hell difficulties(if they keep those names) offer more thing like; new monsters(2-3); bigger randomized dungeon; boss only seen in nightmare and hell because they are "too hellish" to be seen in normal;random quest only possible to get in nightmare and/or hell(personnaly i'm pretty sure this will happen); more monsters instead of only stronger and others thing if they think about others ideas?
I think somewhere(forum blizzard or interview) something was said that 56k internet connection won't be enough to play online correctly, I don't really remember what was said or how it was said, so I have no idea where to look to prove this.
For the LAN topic, would it be possible and/or enough to simply ask to confirmed the cd-key in battle.net once and then be able to use this LAN for like 6 month and then you would have to confirmed it again.
My opinion on the bag system is that they are a good idea, because it was much too small in diablo 2 for my taste especially once the Charms appeared.
I think it could be interesting for the bags to be magic, to be just like the charms, you could use a maximum of 10 bags and each bags would give 1 slot for each groups of items(ex:"weapon and armor", misc.). those 10 bags would replace the charms if they are not in diablo 3. You would have 10 space reserved to equip bag. Every bags would give the same amount of space or its could give more space but with less powerful magic effect.
If the bags system were to become like that I would really like it.
Like a lot of people, I like the class that were confirmed, I don't think that the class name or general idea are the most important thing, most of the time its more about how the skills were made, how they are different that make all the difference.
I don't think its very easy to make a completely original class, i'm pretty confident that I will like those that were presented and the 2 remainings.
If I were to think of new class to have, I think a kind of special martial artist with fist weapon or leg related weapon with quite fast speed of attack and some lifeforce related skill(like falcon shaped temporary companion that attack ranged enemies for 30 seconds)Of course it would have fist skill or kick skills.
The only other class I could think of is a kind of nephalim(not sure if its the right way to write it) related people who were trying to feel or use power of the original nephalim, they were able to before but was not strong enough to be used in combat, but when the worldstone was destroyed, they eventually started to be able to use stronger power than before. They could have demon related skill, angel related skill and something else.
I am unable to post anything in the battle.net forum because I am unable to install Diablo 2 anymore, so I can't register an account.
My number 1 patch note I would like to see is a new dungeon, something like a rough version of the infinite dungeon idea that was said on the battle.net forum.
I'm saying a rough version because to make it perfect could take too long, If this was made it could give an idea if it would be an idea that would work well for Diablo 3.
About the too much information topic, I think that while it is true that its not fun when you have too much information about a games that has not been released yet, right now its not at the point of too much information.
I hope that when the games is released, we won't know: every class in detail, every monsters and boss that we will see in the games and every games mechanics because we won't have much new thing to discover.
The thing that blizzard need to know is when will new information past the line that separate new information and too much information
Of course, right now they are not close to that limit.
For the fury gauge I think its a nice idea for a barbarian and I don't really care about how it will look, but I hope there will be auto-generate fury in magic item.
p.s. the whirlwind skill look weak because it only do something like 25% of weapon damage.
I think it might be too soon to say that being able to allocate stats points manually is the right thing to do.Personnaly I like being able to place stats points where I want but since we don't really know all the "others means" that bashiok talk about we can't really says if its good or not. You never know, being able to allocate stats points manually could make the games unbalanced.
We don't know everything about the games, maybe for example there is a magic effect on gears that give you 10% reduced damage for any kind of attack for every 100 base strength you have. with this idea, if 3 parts of gears could have that, if you could put all the strength you want you could become invincible.
Keep in mind that this is only an example of what could be in the games.
We might not know what best for the stats until we actually have the game.
I really like this new piece of information, I never really like the locked chest idea in diablo 2, I was normally keeping 2 set of 12 keys, but just when I was really into the game, I came across a locked chest and realize I did not have any more keys.
The fact that there will be higher qualities chests is very interesting, it remind me of the SNES games Lufia 2 in the ancient cave where there was blue chest that contained very good equipement, in fact this system is one of the reason why I go back to play this games every 8 month.
