We love that players are able to remove gems from sockets in Diablo III, as it helps provide more flexibility as you gear up rather than locking you to single choice. However, since un-socketing is so painless and costs so little, what we’ve found is that players will simply recycle the same gem across all their characters rather than creating new ones. An important goal with the new Marquise gems is to act as a gold and Radiant Star gem sink. Currently, there’s nothing in the game that actually pulls those gems out of the economy, but to keep their value up, that’s important.
In all honesty, I wish the cost to remove the lower tier gems was much higher, more in line with the cost of the Marquise gem. We would prefer players to be crafting new gems of all types rather than just shuffling them around as that makes the gem economy more dynamic (more things coming in, lots of things coming out). Right now it’s almost entirely stagnant, with demand going down every day. If you only had to craft one Marquise Ruby for all 10 characters, that would remove some Radiant Stars from the economy, but realistically it won’t remove much. With the unsocket cost set to 5 million, you now have a clear choice: "should I move my gem 4 times or just craft a new one?" For the sake of the economy, we actually hope you’d prefer to craft a new one.

Am i the only one who think they all did this in order to maybe make a little more money? i dont really believe in their answer, the cost is so gigantic for a simple thing that it can only be to create a bigger need of gold wich will eventually translate to more transaction and more money and well its either the wheels of fortunes or a viscious circles...or both...whats your own opinion?
Blizzard restores your items if you get hacked. That's more than you can expect, in my opinion. It's just the items you had on you at the time when you were hacked that are BoA, it doesn't mean that you won't be able to trade anymore in the future, c'mon. If your gear is worth a couple of billions and you get hacked - I'm sorry to say this - it's your fault.
You people don't get that the reason for dupes is exactly Blizzard's customer service being so nice to people who are too stupid to protect their accounts properly. Dupes are just the result of fixing user's mess beyond what they have to offer according to their ToS. Yeah, flame on if you're offended, I don't care. Have fixed too many computers in my life (and traced back at which point the user made a mistake that caused him to get hacked) to feel sorry for people who get hacked. It's usually a lesson for life and once you feel the pain you're more careful next time.

You're not getting the point.
If you get hacked, it's your fault. Your items are now BoA so they're not going anywhere. Instead of two dupe-able items, there is only one that's floating around out there. Yes, it won't stop duping for good, but it won't be as worthwhile for the duper and his potential accomplices since they can only do it one at a time. In that case, it is also much easier for Blizzard to track, because the duping results are linear.
Picture the current duping epidemic. It's a massive web with items being duped in numerous directions via numerous sources.
BoA; duping goes in one direction because only one copy of the item exists that is not BoA. It will be easy to track back to the origin.

Restore without deleting the source? The source of the dupe is your original item, which has been sold after you got hacked. The buyer of the item had no idea that the item was duped and therefore is the most innocent person of all involved in this situation. Why should they be punished? No way. So, the only way is to not dupe (i.e., not restoring your account), or if they decide to restore your account, make it BoA.
What exactly is Blizzard's fault? Are you saying it's Blizzard's fault to fix up the mess you left behind when you got hacked? Blizzard does more than enough to tell you to protect the account, they introduced more account security measures than every other company and tell you how to protect your account several times. Dupes only exist because people get hacked (and hackers exploit this by mimicking this stupidity). It sounds harsh but every other way to look at this is just a distorted perception of reality.

never been hacked with an authenticator myself but im not talking only for me, im being hypothetical over what can happens and who will pay for what i judge wouldnt be fair.

Whatever Blizzard does to deal with hackers, it will never be enough. The same goes for botting. Technology will keep changing and programmers will always try and find loopholes or ways to break through the walls. When someone gets hacked, honestly, I can't feel bad for hackee. If you got hacked, legitimately or not (if it's a rollback scheme), it's your fault.
How often do you see high-end players get legitimately hacked? "Help, XYZ hacked me, give me my account back, I lost everything." You don't see those, yet don't you think those players are the ones that would likely be targeted for their highly desired gear and gold savings? No, but it's possible some of them intentionally set up rollback dupes, but you don't see them giving out their info for people to hack into their account and jack all their belongings.
That's why the BoA mechanic will be better than no BoA. At least at that point, regardless of the hackee's position, at least one of the item's copies will not be open for additional dupes. You won't see five identical Echoing Furies simultaneously in the AH. Worst comes to worst, it will be one EF and that will be much easier to track if the dupes continue to follow.

Sad, very sad. But the fact is no one NO ONE outside of blizzard's employees can prove this one way or the other. Furthermore, its the reason I feel D3 softcore is destined to fail- RMAH translates to money>skill AND without fiscal competition greed is the only thing that can kill a Monopoly.
when the gem went down to 5million for radiant, they were being duped....not a single person claimed that they got one deleted, none claimed that they had gear deleted after buying anything.
in TOS there a rules that say that every transaction is final wich is why i believe they didnt been deleted.
lifesteal will work in pvp im sure of it, but the armor and resist we got, will reduce your dmg and lifesteal will be low too since the dmg reduction will be huge vs pve wich is nul i believe, loh dont depend on your dmg so you can easily assume it will be way better then lifesteal
you will have to call blizzard and send em copy of your ID to reset your authenticator....also authenticator APP desynchronize if your phone run out of battery and you will have to do the same thing too, i strongly recomment you to use a physical authenticator for this reason

Wrong, MF increases the chance to get more affixes on item and chance to find legendaries.
So MF does not increases chance to find rare items but it can sometimes turn magic item into rare.

you wont get more drop neither higher item lvl per drop, you will feel you get more loots since you will end getting more rare/legendary out of all the loots and yes mf increase the quantity of affixes but not the value of affixes
maybe but you could get banned if they have evidence you purchased gold outside of rmah, it is against term of use
Wont change how that impacts the market, people buying at 12 cents per million means no1 is buying the gold you try to sell legitimately, remember were arguing from the POV of the seller, not buyer
....you could also get banned for selling it....and i doubt anyone is selling at 12 cent since it sell at 30-34 cent US easy before cut
