So because the PTR happens to share 2 quality-of-life features with the console version, you automatically assume they copy/pasted the console version's codebase? That entire argument is just one big hole. You can't just take code from one version of the game and slap it into another. The graphics code alone would take forever to rewrite, not to mention windowing, input, sound, UI, and mechanics. Also, the delay in Vault is lag. No matter how much money Blizz throws at their server architecture, there's still going to be bottlenecks when hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people are trying to log in and play at the same time.
TL;DR: Don't assume that some of the best programmers in the industry got lazy and copied code because a couple features got carried over between platforms.
What I don't understand is why some mods, that won't influence game mechanics such as D3 FXAA injector mod,or some other graphical mods are not allowed, and things like multiboxing are.The first one gives you ban,and the other is completely safe.
I wouldn't mind SOME mods to be allowed.
The reason it's not allowed is right in the name. That mod injects a shader file into the game's memory, which is also how many hacks work. If I remember correctly, Blizz said they weren't allowing it because they couldn't tell well enough what exactly was being injected, be it a hack or modded shader. This could be easily fixed by Blizz by giving us a shader selection in the Video options.
OT: I don't see why Blizz is so opposed to content mods after what Median XL did for Diablo 2. It added so much content that it turned into a completely new and refreshed game. The least they could have done was bring ideas from that mod over to D3.
Amazing work I will have to set aside some time to really dig into what you have written.
I'm sorry about that.
I'd like my english was better so it would be easier for the reader to understand.
Aside from that I'm happy that you like my idea
From what I can tell your English is perfect, I didn't have any trouble reading it.
Did you get this up on BNet forums yet? You should, it'll get some attention from the Blues over there, and a lot more exposure.
If you want to stay melee, I'd pick up some LoH, but weapons with it and over 1k DPS are stupid expensive. You'd also want more resistance, but that'll come just by filling up slots with T16 gear. If you don't think you're ready, go back and farm Act 2, it'll also let you get the feel of whatever spec you choose to play.
So, I've gotten about halfway through Inferno act 1, and I'm not entirely sure about how to go about gearing myself. Up to this point I've been stacking life on hit (@1k) and life regen(1200/sec).
I'm not sure if Life Regen is a stat that's worth stacking anymore, it seems it doesn't heal for the actual 1k/sec like my character sheet says. I'm wondering if it's getting depressed like Life Steal does, or am I just overestimating the speed at which my globe will fill up at 38k health?
After watching the solo monk Diablo kill, I've considered dropping Regen as a must-have stat and just go straight for Attack Speed (after getting Resist All capped, of course). I'm not sure about it, though, because I have a feeling I'll be gimping myself too much. Are there any other Barbs out there that have tried this and can give some thoughts on this type of build?
With my gear + War Cry up, I have 800 life/sec (4.44% of total per sec) , ~150 life/hit, 18000 health, 1900 DPS.
This is just as I'm starting Hell A1, but so far it's been working great. All I had to do for SK was switch Cleave to Frenzy w/ Sidearm and dodge his WW. Adds just died from the massive Revenge spam and Rend damage. Rare and elite packs aren't a problem either (or if you have my terrible luck, getting two at the same time isn't that bad either, unless they have stupid affixes (freeze, arcane, and molten chains, anyone?)
I'm only on NM so far, but I read about this sort of stat build in another thread, someone said it's been working for them in hell.
RIght now I'm stacking Strength, life steal, life regen, and life on hit. Vit is just an added bonus if the item has it.
I use http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#acXgVj!dYX!aZaZaZ along with it, which probably isn't suited to Hell, but the amount of health I get from steals and regen is just silly, along with the 1%/sec from the shout, 9% of Rend, and 13% of Revenge. I haven't had to change it for bosses much, but it probably needs more defense, like Ignore Pain or some other skill for Hell.

Meant to be a self-healing AoE grinder with multiple ways of healing.
Actives:
Cleave - No brainer, fury generator that does AoE damage
Whirlwind - 130% damage to everything around you? Yes please.
Threatening Shout - Reduces incoming damage so you don't die before you can kill something.
Furious Charge - Gap closer, good for getting to the casters who don't feel like coming out to play
Revenge - Generates fury, heals you for 7.5% HP with each enemy hit, AND does 220% weapon damage? What more could you ask for?
Earthquake - When that giant group of skeletons surrounding you needs to die 5 seconds ago, you hit this. 1600% AoE damage with no fury cost
Passives:
Ruthless - 5% Crit and more crit damage
Brawler - Since this is an AoE spec, you're almost always going to be surrounded by things to kill
Bloodthirst - Yet more self-healing, except you don't need to activate this one, just start bashing something with your sword
