Tho I have a concern. The Battletag/Battlenet links you provided in the Email of our Application copies is not working.
It's not written right. You will see
Hello. Yes we received your app and reviewed it. It will be approved for sure, but not officially for a couple weeks. Still putting some things together first before we send out all of the official app approvals and declines. So please hang in there for a bit. Most of the officers have become inactive over the past year because lets face it, D3 was kinda nice when it came out... but it really did not come close to anyone's expectations and got old fast. So right now I'm pretty much handling a lot of things on my own and I do have a full time job plus a wife and child That's why the current officer openings exist.
I know what you mean with the battletag link in the app email. It's because the armory link uses name-number instead of name#number. When applicants put in their battletag, they use a #. But if they use a - it would work. I just simply copy the url and change the # to a -.
Hey there. I just want to ask if you are limited to only pc or you maby have a console ( xbox ) com going on.
Regards Mario
As of right now there are no plans of Unlimited to get into the cosole versions of D3. Maybe later if there are enough interested. But becuase it's not linked to battle.net, it may as well be a separate game. So if there would ever be enough interested and enough to fully support it, it could happen, but I doubt it will before RoS is released.
And there you have it, clan/guild implementation is here! With the removal of the AH, even more of a reason to find a clan and call it home!
Unlimited is currently re-organizing and taking in Applications in preparation for Reaper of Souls. If you are interested, submit an application. All applications submitted within the past couple of months have been reviewed, and you can expect a response within the next 1-2 weeks; any applications received from here on out will also result in a response within the next couple weeks. So please keep an eye out for an email and/or an in-game whisper.
I remember clans/guilds in Diablo 1, 2 and LoD.... as well as in many other games that don't have any in-game support, which worked out great either way.
I voted 2 minutes because top-end spells shouldn't be spammable or often used especially in PvP. I believe that it should be 2 minutes at minimum.
You may argue that PvP fights won't last more than a minute. But, you are wrong. Competitive PvP is what matters, and is where the balance of all classes should be focused. And we all know that in competitive PvP, most, if not all battles (unless mistakes happen), last much much longer than the one minute many people seem to believe.
Just look at equally geared, skilled and motivated players in any arena type match or battle. In most cases those matches or battles last a long time. Especially when both parties play well.
Secondly, when a very powerful end-game spell is spammed, all the fun is taken away and battles are extremely short. Take the spam away, and the fun is put back in to the game and we're forced to throw the cookie cutter away and use our creativity to shape our characters.
If you are looking for game-play that involves spamming the most powerful spells and short fights, then perhaps you should stick to Diablo II or try out some FPSs.
Another point of view is in PvE or PvM. Most fights will be short (excluding boss fights) no matter what since most monsters or mobs are basically "trash mobs". It'd be crazy if every monster in D3 took 5 minutes to kill.
So with that said, there's no need for top-end spells to be spammed in intervals shorter than 2 minutes.
If they were, the game would simply be too easy and too fast paced.
With Boss fights, the same holds true. If everyone were spamming their top-end spells, it wouldn't be much of a boss fight, now would it? With greater than 2 minute cooldowns, we're forced to work as a team and use MORE of our abilities to kill the boss. Which, in my opinion, would make for a much better accomplishment rather than how bosses are now in Diablo II.
Killing a boss or even killing another player in Diablo II... yeah, is presently in no way at all a great feat. And I'm sure most would agree with me on that one. This is what they want to change in Diablo 3. And I am all for it.
1. Guild/Clan Support - I would like to know if there will be any type of clan/guild support in the game or bnet 2.0. See if you can squeeze out any information reguarding any type of guild/clan support. If so, will it support an in-game ranking system? I know this was asked, but it's very important for many people to know.
2. Realms - Will there be multiple realms such as east/west/europe/etc. to choose from like in Diablo 2?
Unlimited is a US-based guild and will be organized on US-based servers in Diablo 3. Depending upon interest, international expansion could potentially be considered in the future, but not anytime soon.

*UPDATE* (28 Feb 2012)
North America (NA) realm recruitment has been CLOSED to softcore players; NA recruitment is still OPEN for Hardcore-Only applicants. But please, don't let that keep you from applying. We still may accept you through closed recruitment if you are a very exceptional applicant. Also, we anticipate future openings soon after the release of Diablo 3.
European (EU) realm recruitment is still OPEN and we encourage dedicated and skilled applicants to apply for and fill our steadily growing EU roster for both Softcore and Hardcore play. Skeptical? Feel free to get to know our EU members on our forums before you apply if you like, and you'll see we are a well-established and great clan and community all-around!
How We Formed Originally:
Unlimited originally formed as a small group of real life friends back in the days of Diablo 1 who shared the same interests. When Diablo II and LoD came out, we continued our adventures together throughout. We recruited few people to keep things simple and tight. We eventually started openly recruiting and grew to over 60 players, most of which were active during the 1.07-1.09 patches. After that, things died down a bit and we kept ourselves under the radar... though, we stuck around since then.
Where We're At Now:
A few years ago, we heard some rumors and then some news of Diablo 3 in the making! This excited us! We then decided to take things to the next level and go big and public, creating this website in the process. We have the experience, dedication, brains and resources to potentially create and run the best and most well-known Elite clan in Diablo 3. So far, it's working out much better than we ever expected!
For over past few years or so, we've been slowly fine-tuning our Clan and website, and how it may work upon the release of D3. We've also let recruitment open for the most part since then to get an idea of what people are looking for and what to expect. As of the creation date of this post (2010), we have a decent player base ready to go into action as soon as the game hits the store shelves. However, we want to keep recruitment open and continue to strengthen our forces with elite, worthy and ready players from all over.
Today, we have developed into more than just a Clan or Guild... we have developed into more of a small tight-knit society, completely independent of the outside. This is how we plan to roll into Diablo 3. To be completely self-sufficient and continue to march through Diablo 3 as one of the top Clans and be able to achieve and fulfill the dreams, needs and desires of every Unlimited member in Diablo 3. Unlimited is a happy and great place to be, and we thank all of our members for this, as they are the ones responsible for keeping Unlimited an enjoyable, fun and fair environment for everyone!
Our Goals:
Our goals are great, yet easily achievable with dedicated members...
To be a large and the most well-known clan/guild in Diablo 3
To be the most respected guild in Diablo 3
To contain the most elite players in a single guild
To dominate and/or destroy everything and anything in our path, be it PvE or PvP
To have the best, most skillful and most intelligent players around
To create a fun and enjoyable gaming environment for all members of Unlimited!
To have the best gear and items in the game
To have the largest stock of gear and items of any guild
To have help available to any member at any time for any need
That list will never be complete, as we will always be setting new and better goals to reach as a guild.

I updated the original post a little bit. It's been since 2010 since I posted, so, I thought it was about time for an edit. Check it out!
