Diablo 1: Sorceror was my love. Mana Shield just had an awesome sound when cast. Then warrior, of course.
Diablo 2: Hammerdin like everyone else... But my true love was my Trap/Kick hybrid Assassin. I wasn't getting every little synergy from my traps, but I didn't care. I could kill lightning immunes and be block capped.
Back to the plot: Playing Demon Hunter with friends. Need a character for downtime? Female Demon Hunter.
Just keep waiting. Hate all you want if it makes you feel better, but Blizzard won't shove a game out the door because people get antsy. This is why they don't set release dates.
The post deletion makes me scratch my head, but if I have to wait a little longer for a game with that polish/quality I can wait.
Poking fun at stuff? I expect a healthy dose of it.
Nostalgia, honest and clean and loving nostalgia... I really hope there is a lot. Loved Lazarus and Leoric so much from the original, and I am all for more of that. I loved my D2, but I grew up on Diablo/Hellfire and if I get more of that I'll be happy. I know the Cathedral is intact, and I would be tickled pink if they allowed it to be a dungeon, or at least explored. I can still hear The Butcher in my nightmares.
D3 is supposed to wrap up the arc the last two set and be even bigger in terms of area to explore. I can still hold hope they at least give Diablo the love it really deserves.
Oh sure, I totally agree. But when we're calling out people based solely on religious affiiation I feel it's appropriate to point out nobody is a good guy.
Christians that bent out of shape tend to murder people, start wars, rape young children, burn books, etc.
This is the point when I personally start questioning if it was really done in the name of a god, or rather just excusing it with religion. There is no doubt people will use it as a crutch, or a bandage. Not excusing anyone of it, but a lot of terrible things have happened in the name of a deity, and just as much has happened and had a deity hastily added to it to justify it to themselves or like minded people. Like the actions of military/national leaders, or certain killers ('course the latter are the nutty ones).
The major religion structures like the Vatican church for an example, have been fighting an ongoing war for millenia against the "other" supposedly religious ways of expression other people might have chose.
They tell us that everything before Judaism was primitive idol worshiping and many gods and goddesses for everything and that this is bad. So much disinformation... Just so they can turn us into these people who actually want to be grabbed by the balls.
I'm going with Daemaro here. I know there are people out there who don't like atheists, and I cannot say that I am one myself but I hold no affiliations.
The kids who want to look cool, and tell everyone their an atheist to troll? Yeah, they make atheists look real bad. Christian, Bhuddist, atheist, whatever; just do your thing. Choosing battles is smart, and arguing with the older generation running the world is not going to win you anything. I just don't see trying to lobby against religious symbols while publicly saying you have no creed yourself is going to appeal to those codgers. Give it a few decades and the more 'free-thinking' young adults of today may start making some change.
Is there not a mosque going up near ground zero? People bitch about that just fine, and the ones who see no real problem with it are those who take it as it is. Instead of complaints, add to it perhaps? The nation seemed to bond fine over some buildings going down, just keep the love flowing.
If those crazy life-threatening, god-fearing, hate-mongering Christian folk wanna complain, well you have your case for discrimination.
With enough work, you probably could make the $60 back. However, it'd take a while. Not knowing the flat fees in place it would be hard to tell how long that'd take.
Were I to get one today, I think I would hold it over all of my friends' heads and tell them to jump up my butt because I would have something for them to be jealous of for once.
I am going to err on the side of past blue posts saying Horde may come; such a mode is shoehorned in to every game now that it would be silly not to have one. Especially with hordes of demons and such.
I'd like an infinite dungeon. Get the 'grind' in while challenging yourself.
From what I've read, a build of the game leaked to some torrent sites and people are eating it up, even helping folks on the fence preorder. The UK Xbox magazine had a big (I think five page) spread on it, giving it a 10/10.
A definite buy for me. I understand hesitation, especially with the hype some games can get and turn out to be trash; but I'm taking that chance, I have faith.
I know that the game should be made to accommodate for controller commands, but even with that said, for a lot of types of games, it's strange, if not stupid to not want to use a mouse. Like... starcraft lol.
Very true. I remember Starcraft 64 and Warcraft 2 for the Playstation. I played both on the computer with a friend who happened to have the two aforementioned consoles, and the difference was night and day. Starcraft wasn't terrible, but I found myself wishing for my mouse. Were I more at home with consoles, I may not have noticed the difference.
I really wouldn't mind seeing Blizzard add that functionality, especially with this sort of game. Granted, it would have to be almost entirely redone to work right. I hope they offer the support, especially if it could improve or offer a more stable way for individual tastes to play.

The politics of all religion in action?

Sad, I know.
