oh.. haha. Thanks i guess =]. But its because i was wondering the same questions a couple of days back. So i was watchign the videos on purpose to get my questions answered, because i know other people wouldn't know. especially when DH is a underplayed class.
While there is a thread open about DH skills i'll ask one that has been bugging me.
Hungering arrow:
-How well does the guided portion of this skill work?
-When the skill pierces a target, does the arrow keep flying, or does it guide back to the target?
Other question not related to skills:
-Discipline regeneration... anyone have a guess to how much per minute?
How well does the guided portion of this skill work?
From what i've seen through the streams... The Hungering Arrow guided portion of the skill is similar to that of guided arrow for the Amazon in D2. Where you have to aim .. either at the mob, or of a maximum distance of about 1-1.5 inch (screen wise)within range of a mob for the the guided arrow to fly toward the mob. So it isn't something intense where... Lets say a mob was in front of me and i shot at a 45 degree angle away from the mob, the hungering arrow won't make a sharp turn and fly into that mob that's straight in front of the character

For this part i'm not certain. But i do know forsure that the arrow does keep flying and goes towards other monsters after it pierces through the first. I have noticed that sometimes it would fly to a completely wrong direction (after piercing the first target) and just goes off to a random location, when there are clearly other mobs around the first targeted mob. I actually don't know if the arrow actually goes back to the original target though... like for example.. if there were to be only 1 target around.. like a boss.. i dont know if the arrow would come back to the boss and keep piercing it.. ( you you're lucky with your piercing that is)

I kind of did a rough estimation of how fast it generates. I know for sure that the hatred and discipline orbs in the beta have 100hatred and 31 discipline. I counted the amount of seconds passed, after a player used all of his hatred, and i roughly estimated about 10hatred/sec regeneration. But as for discipline.. it took while to regen 31 discipline when the player used his all up. For discipline i guessed around 2discipline /sec, so in 10 secs, he will be 2/3 way of regening his resource orb full.
I just noticed something while looking at the DH's class page ( http://us.battle.net/d3/en/class/demon-hunter/ )that on the key features section to the right, the second icon is not a skill that the DH has on her skill calc page. Anyone have any idea as to what skill it might be? I'm just bored, so just getting some discussion going
the skills calculator says on the bottom that the skills are at lvl 60 and the runes are tier 7 runes. So those are the highest. There are no "skill points" anymore. The spells "level" up as you level up...
it might not be removed permanently. Some peopel noticed that the wizard has 25 spells while the other classes have liek 22-23 spells, and Bliz said that a couple of them were taken out on purpose or not put in the game for... well they didnt really state a reason. I'm guessing they're still modding them, or playing around with them, so... that's probably why some skills are missing.
I really wish they would make the resource cost for a lot of the spells for the demon hunter lower, but if it offsets he overall damage of the demon hunter's spells, then i wouldn't mind them making her spells do less damage. I would rather have a demon hunter who can use multiple spells and do moderate damage, than have a DH that does hella damage, but can only use a couple of spells. While i was watching a lvl 13 monk video, where he was just breezing through a dungeon, and he would constantly use his spells like the resources didn't matter, and he has a spell that lets him dash toward to hit a mob, it made the game very fast pace and exciting. They need to do something liek that with the demon hunter. Because all the demon hunter can do atm is... fire a couple of pretty non-exciting spells, and be out of resources. And the DH can only vault 3 times, then she has to walk around... how exciting does that sound? Not At ALL. Boo for walking/running, more spell traveling pleaseeee~ =] anyone have any thought about this?
Even though i have spent hours devising DH builds... i'm a bit glad they're deciding to do this. DH definitely needs to be revamped. It's pretty depressing to hear all these streamers saying that DH is boring and their least favorite class, but I don't doubt them... when I watched some of the DH's rerun videos... I'd agree myself, that compared to other classes, the DH was... weak, boring, not as fun... and all those negative things. So.. GJ bliz. for recognizing that, and doing something about it.
