Guys, I come to you as a friend, as a hero, but mostly as a warrior. As most if not all of you know, I am a seasoned Roaster, an artist of shredding idiots to peices when the situation presents itself. However, lately I have run into someone that no matter how much I shred him he continues to display himself as an elitest, an intellegent individual who is going to college. I find this hard to see, as he cannot even spell in his typing. Regardless of our differences however, others have joined into the landslide battle of myself murdering this idiot.
All this fighting and aggression made, has spewed into other threads, and so many are fighting all over the place, that I have woken up from my anger to see what I have made. Therefore, I have the following solutions:
1.
HARDCOREPOORE, the aggressor of many, be kicked out. His resolve is to continue offending others and will never be sorry or stop. He will not change, and he has said it himself. Therefore he must ask forgiveness for his crimes and change, or he must be banned by IP address, never to come back. The decision to have him removed will be anonymous, and the option with the majority will be the one executed. I will personally bring it to the attention of a Moderator and ask him to execute the decision of the people.
2.
We all put up with the reckless HARDCOREPOORE, and bite our lip whenever he chooses to offend yourself, your family, or your sexuality. Whenever he explains the sexual attacks he wishes to see done to you, we will all simply ignore him, allowing him to get his kick from continuing to say these things and continue to claim he goes to college even though his typing and sentence structure really says otherwise.
3.
Nothing is done. The fighting continues, and members begin to leave. The forum will no longer be the fun and great place it once was, all the fighting has torn friendships and burned bridges. No more fun conversations about Diablo 3, or diablo 2. No more will people talk and have intellectual conversations, instead they will adopt the ways of HARDCOREPOORE. They will make assumptions on others with no bases, their favorite word and defense against others will be the word "fag" which is ironically among the few words they spell correctly, and they will not think before spewing more hostility. The forum we once knew will be chaos, no longer for intellectuals and opinionated individuals to share and respect one anothers' believes and opinions.
Choose wisely, think about what will happen when you vote. This is not only about him, or me. It is about how we handle others like him. It is about how we respond to ignorant and disrespectful individuals. This is a community, he has no right to be here if he is not a positive or constructive member. He can either change his ways, or leave; Love it or leave it. Lately, he is not showing much love towards the community.
Threads like this make me sick. I think I'm with Siaynoq on this one. I'm taking a vacation....
what are you talking about? this is to put a stop to all the fighting going on in the other threads. your response scares me, your a part of this community but you dont want to help it? much like the french. but im not here to judge, i respect your opinions even though i disagree strongly with them.
I am and will always be at your side Carloseus. Though banning by IP address will do no good since most internet companies give you a random IP address everytime you go on the internet. I voted 3 because there is really nothing that cannot be done. I think the only way this will stop...the fight will have to continue until one looses taste of the fights and leaves. That is my opinion.

Those before me shall quiver in my wake as I unleash the fury within!
all im saying is that he is a main cause of all the fighting. if he goes, or changes, that stops much of the hostility there. and its a rational decision too. after all, if he has nothing good to offer the community then why should he stay?
Alright. I haven't left for my vacation yet. I've just been packing. But here's the thing.
I wanted to take a break because I'm tired of all the spam threads that have been flooding the forums lately. I think what can scare a person away from a forum more than one seemingly rude guy is a barage of spam brought on by an even greater barage of post whores who do nothing but drop utterly pointless one-liners.
Spam is great. One-liners are great. But it all needs to be done in moderation. Either done sparingly, or people should at least balance their spamminess with well thought out posts that equate to more than just someone saying, "You're right." Or, "What he said."
Now for this issue everyone is having with Hardcorepoore, I have no strong feelings about his conduct one way or the other. It's possible I don't have a problem with him because I'm more concerned about the unrelenting spam flooding the forums than I am with someone acting like a jerk. At least the one who acts like a jerk doesn't flood the forums. But to the point, where the hell are the moderators? There are rules on forums for flaming and trolling. And in most cases if someone is breaking those rules, usually a stern warning from a moderator is enough to bring that person back in line. If they get a second or third warning, then a temporary (usually seven days or more) banning is in order. If they return after their ban and continue to flame or troll then usually a permanent ban is necassary.
But in all the time I've been on these forums, I've never seen disciplinary action of any kind. So in other words, no one has been deterred from breaking the rules because not a single person has been punished for it. Typically, when a person breaks the rules to the point of a ban, the moderator will post underneath that person's last offense, and state the reason for the temporary or permanent ban. This has a splash effect on most user and makes them reconsider their conduct. But the moderator must first act before anyone can see that they better watch more carefully what they are saying.
Now here's the catch. I personally enjoy this forum for its relaxed set of rules. I like that I don't need to be paranoid of what I say because I'm afraid a moderator will discipline me. I've been on other forums that are hardly fun at all because it's like walking on ice. You barely get a second chance at some other forums I've been on. However, without any moderating at all, you can easily go from one extreme to another.
Basically what I'm saying is that I don't want a super strict forum, nor do I want a totally chaotic one either. And lately, it's been tilting a little too much toward the latter. Such an imbalance in any place makes even Trag'Oul squirm uncontrollably. So how do we fix this? Well, I personally believe that our current moderators need to step up the moderating. Even if it's just for awhile, it will make everyone (including myself) follow the rules better and respect each other more. Whose attention do we bring all of this to? That's a good question. Cause I'm barely even sure of who are moderators even are anymore; they've been so inactive lately it's hard to tell.
That said, I certainly hope I haven't offended anyone explicitly. I hope this response isn't too extreme in any way and that people can relate to it. But like I said, I've just been packing to go on my trip, and I wanted to get a bit of work done before I left. So I'll see you in a few days. Someone please feed my fish while I'm gone.

i agree with you, but since they arent doing anything, im taking it to the people. if we all agree that he should be banned, or a temp ban, then we can take it to a mod as a group, and maybe something would be done.
its the fucking interent, calm the fuck down. Do you not have anything better to do than write essays on other members on a (non existant) video game's forum
Anyone a member of DiabloII.net?? I am sure they can atest to how strict they are, actualy if this was on their forums right now and I posted a link to someone else I qualify for a perm ban, same with saying a few of the choice words Frigid just used.
We need stricter moderation, currently I don't think you can get kicked out or banned... can you?

If you ever meet a hafling and a hungry dragon you dont have to outrun the dragon, you only have to outrun the hafling.
Shouldn't you be e-mailing the admin about this issue ? A quick fix is just ignore the person you're having problems with, that will work. Oh and yes another thing i leanerd from the internet:
''May the Gods give you the strength and power to bear the madness which flows through our minds.''
''Zubin, I've always imagined you as a crazy raver. The kinda guy that spends all night dancing to trance music while waving glow sticks and popping ecstasy.'' - Murderface
But HARDCORE isn't even trying to be good , i always said that he should be given a chance but no he wants to stay @!#$%^&*.

Yes permanently... we will probably forget about him anyways. I doubt he will change. If he ends up sending an e-mail saying he will seriously change and all that stuff then we can give him one more chance. If he was lieing then just ban + don't listen to him in e-mails and stuff.
#1. We've offered him chances, he's declined. Time for some action.

"Cards and flowers on your window, your friends all plead for you to stay,
sometimes beginnings aren't so simple, sometimes goodbye's the only way."
Well...my opinion as well...arguing on what should be an outcome of a single member will not ease anything at all either. I know Carlos you are trying to end this issue, but I see nothing that can be done.
