You like John Lennon? Check out his son Sean Lennon. He's no hack either. His music totally kicks ass.

Important question: Are his songs about peace and love and equality, like his father's? o.o

Pfft! Fuck no. I mean, not really. But just in case you think he sounds too much like his dad, then ask yourself, who else would have more of a right to sound like John Lennon other than his own son?

He only has two albums so it ain't hard to get a nice impression of his music through just a bit of listening.

I listened to a few of his songs, not really into that. He sounds similar, but it's not the same, if you get what I mean. :/

    This one is for Siaynoq.

So, there's this Finnish band called End Of You. Now, the vocalist has a voice that is kind of a mix of a Japanese guy's and a conquered American dialect. In this song, "Star Parade", he pulls off one of the most moving vocal performances I've ever heard (too bad I'm not posting a video). It's just amazing.

The instrumentals throughout the song are pretty good. The guitar really drives the song during the chorus, but the chords during the verses add a structured effect through the rest of the song, especially at the end of the second chorus. There is a pretty cool keyboard introduction too that follows a circular melody, like the intro to "Clocks" by Coldplay.

The lyrics are, although great in my opinion, grammatically incorrect in some spots. But, who can blame them, they have good musicianship and they're Finnish, you can't expect them to learn complete English. They have pretty good English, but I couldn't imagine making a switch from a language as complicated as Finnish to English (which are from two completely different language trees).

    Yeah, one of my favorites.

    Air - Cherry Blossom Girl

I've always loved 10,000 hz Legend best. It's an unusual album but many of the songs are solid and each one sounds rather different in style than the last. Song like How Does It Make You Feel and The Vagabond, and Radian. Those are some seriously awesome songs.

Yeah, it's a great album. How Does It Make You Feel is definitely one of my favourite Air songs. So brilliant. As for it being the best album I can't really decide. All the albums have their ups and downs imho, although all of them are solid.

Now playing: The Smiths - Reel Around The Fountain

Smiths is great for spring time. But I am staying far away from them now. That is one of their best songs though.

I have a Vaughn Williams CD with that song so I'd always just assumed he wrote it.
