I was just thinking about something...how strong will Arthas be if he single handily defeated Illidan in combat and that was even before he merged and became the Lich King.
My predictions are:
Arthas (Lich King)
Health: 13 000 000
Mana: 10 000
Damage: in the thousands maybe even tens of thousands

I like the life I lived, because I went from negative to positive.
You know very well who you are, don't let them hold you down, reach for the stars.
He will no doubt be tough as hell. WOW doesn't really allow for soloing. It pretty much forces you to Party up. Also I have a feeling he may be the final boss, unless they are still playing on doing more expansions to WOW. There are a few Burning Legion higher up floating around, plus one or two other fairly powerful creatures that have been mentioned in the various games, but never really made appearances.
With LOD you could solo the entire game and you would run into too much of a problem, a few issues with elemental resisitances, but still doable. Trying doing the same thing in WOW, from what I gather, is next to impossible, you have to get some buddies together and get "medieval" on the monsters asses, err.. and other players.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.

Not quite, its not just a few, some raids end up having up to 25 people in them, and its not possible to do that raid(instance increased) unless you have all 25 people.
Yeah, i also think that Arthas will be the last boss... actually, i have no doubt that he will be.

World of Warcraft - Finnegin- Level 80 Enhancement Shaman
That was my point. LOD is not specifically designed as a party play game, it's prefectly doable solo. I wasn't saying every instance in WOW was so hard you had to make a party just to do it, but that is definitely has some that do.
Arthas will no doubt be one of these. If Illidan, with all the power of the skull of Gul'dan could not stop Arthas, what chance do you have?

They could keep pushing the boss's. I mean like you said Elfen, there are people who weren't introduced in the Warcraft series or at least not in the game play that are fucking strong. There's maybe only one guy in this franchise (that’s still alive) that might be stronger then Arthas. The demon lords like Archimond, but I doubt they will use them.

Arthas definitely won't be the final boss. I think they will add him in WotLK, but there are still many more powerful beings to take on after him. I can only think of two off the top of my head atm:
I think it would be hella sick if they added archimond. But, if they added him, and they wanted to make a new expansion, they would end up having to find a new apponent, seeing as Archimond is the leader of the scourge.

i remember reading on a program that Arthas would be the last boss and you would have to be at least level 90 to defeat him. They might no let you defeat him until later on, if they keep making more expansion pacts.

Yeah but there are much bigger fish than Archimonde. He made the scourge, yes, but there's the ones who made him who he was to take care of and the ones who made the Burning Legion(If memory serves those two are the same person)
Tichondrius had the most dealings with Sylvannas, and is still at large
Archimonde got blown up by 1000's of wisps. despite the fact they cannot do any physical damage.

Sylvannas did bitch slap Varimathras, been a while since I've played WCIII: TFT, but I could have sworm she killed him. But demons of his rank/power/level/whatever are often ressurected by higher ups, so it isn't uncommon.

Yep. Case in point. The Eradar. Archimonde is one of these.

To find the truth, you must risk everything.

Edit: I don't remember him in Warcraft III. Where was he at in the game?

Maybe I will figure everything out if I just play throughout all the scenarios.
