Marijuana is good. I smoke it. I drive while under the effect. I work under the effect. I make love under the effect. Oh and guess what? im totally fine and i love it.
If you grow your own, and smoke responsibly, its one of the greatest things. Seriously.

Yeah, that's why I want to grow my own if it ever becomes legal. I've read up on it, and the thing with growing marijuana is that you need to baby it for it to produce anything good. Seeds are also really expensive (feminized seeds run at around 110 euros), so I'll need to start out with something easy and work my way up.
If you've ever seen those rolling cabinets made of plastic with the big tub drawers, that's what I'd keep my harvest in. An ounce is a lot of marijuana on it's own and a well kept plant will yield a little over a pound in a harvest. It's a lot of work though, but it has it's benefits.

Marijuana is illegal for a reason and shall remain illegal for a reason. It's bad for your body, bad for the public, and a waste of time. I consider it on the same level as ciggarettes actually, but they're all disgusting in their own special way. Find a new hobby (banging, safe banging) pot-smokers because no good comes from it. If it was legal, America would crumble. Boom, hows that for above the influence kids
Consider this though, How many drunks beat their wife and abuse their kids? Many since alcohol is a depressant. Marijuana users however are not as angry or active. I say if people want to smoke it let them smoke it, or you might as well make cigs and alchohol illegal. Plus it could really help with the recession as it could really help if it was taxed
Plus dealers add so many chemicals to pot to make make it addictive and that is unhealthy. It really is moonshine all over again. Sell a safe version of marijuana and dealers will pretty much crumble.
I apologize for posting lol. Disregard what I said earlier. I was irrational and unfounded. Must have been an odd day because I'm usually so cool and calm and collected. Anyway...
Have you heard of this new game coming out? I think its called Diablo III?...

What the fuck is that?
It's alright, bro. We all think irrationally every once in a while, nothing to be ashamed of.
Back on topic: since Link brings up a really good point about Tobacco lobbyists (refer to his last post on the second page), we should realize the politics behind Marijuana's illegal status.
I hate being one of those guys who comes out and says "politics is backwards", but when it comes to things like Marijuana, it is. Politicians will say the things that the populous wants to hear, and if they have to say that marijuana is bad to get votes from the uninformed and mislead, they will do it. They're following the will of the people, but the people don't know anything, so they're continuously moving against Marijuana legalization for the sake of power.
It's wrong, it's corrupt, and it really shows how Marijuana is in a chokehold right now. If Marijuana Legalization supporters were more vocal, they could garner more support and put an end to this.

I'm all for the legalization of every controlled substance. As long as alcohol is legal, why shouldn't other things be as well? The reason as to why I say alcohol, is because there are thousands of alcohol related deaths every year. Disturbances, domestic and otherwise, suicides, a bad public image when everyone is barfing on the street and acting like complete morons, you name it. I'm all for legalizing anything because I think every man should be able whatever he wants in his own house, do whatever the hell he wants to his own body, as long as he doesn't step on other people's rights, or do anything that isn't sanctioned by local beliefs and doctrines. Weed isn't even a fucking big deal. It can provide plenty of work opportunities, it can help in cancer, and its negatives are really the same as smoking, if not less serious.

Marijuana use isn't nearly as frequent as tobacco use, so the risks of ailments related to smoking are reduced quite a bit. I hardly have the money to buy, so it's hard for me to really acquire anything because I smoke so rarely.

Lol dealers don't... Maybe if they are some shady ass niggas but if they are your close trusted friends (as every dealer should be) your good
Note your note in the parentheses. They should be trusted friends, but you would be surprised on how many people just go out and buy pot from random dealers.
Buying off street dealers is never a good idea... ever. You don't know what they do to their product, and it doesn't matter how straight they look, they could still be crooked.

Looking at Prop 19 in California, it looks like if the people who voted in the online polls go to the voting booths, we could see a victory for marijuana reform.

Yeah, just make it legal already. I don't like it when my parent's tax money goes towards funding a failed prohibition policy. The social repercussions of prohibition far outweigh any reasonable benefit. I'm sure that if you legalized marijuana, an astounding amount of societal progress can be seen.
I think the group that takes the biggest toll are the children. Have you been through D.A.R.E? It's one of the leading distributors of anti-marijuana propaganda ever. I'll give you an example:
D.A.R.E endorses the recreational use of alcohol. They say a beer at a football game, a glass of wine at dinner, or any other instance of alcohol use, but they warn against abuse. At the same time, they completely besmirch the use of marijuana even though you could use it in moderation just like their alcohol scenario. It's hypocrisy. They're paid to say this bullshit!
Please, just legalize it.

Huzzah!
And when it is decriminalized, it will be just one more thing that Canada beat America to. *Sigh*
Rise and rise again, until lambs become lions

Yeah but there are a lot of non-stoners that buy and smoke weed unfortunately. This is mostly 'cause it's "cool" to do things that are illegal.
Non-stoners buy weed all the time. They get curious and it's like the new "cool" thing to do, just like Jetrall said.
