If you look at the back cover of the DII:LoD manual, you can see that the words in the border actually say 'Malum Superest'. I translated it with an online translator (I dont know latin myself yet), and it came up with:
Malum = Evil (I already knew that one though :D) Superest = Over or Upon
So, the way I figure it:
Malum Superest = Evil Is Upon You
Which makes sense. Well, more sense than 'Evil Is Over', atleast.
Am I right? Some people who know latin better than I do might know what it really means?
Edit: Noone objects, I guess I'm right
Or, it could mean 'Upon Evil', but, nah, 'Evil is Upon You' sounds cooler.
