I hope they merge hell and inferno and make it 50-70, and MP enabled for everything level 70. But probably not gonna happen, rather something like inferno = 2 levels per act.
More likely Hell will be rescaled to reach 70 by the time you complete act 5 (I've seen 1-35, 35-55, 55-70 suggested as the new leveling curve; this is similar to what happened in D2). Then Inferno will be 70-73 on MP0 and 73 across the board with Monster Power turned on, like it is now.
No, there was a bluepost saying that there would be no level 71, 72, 73 crap as we have it now. Level 70 is max item level, and since craft/enchant/drop level equals character/monster level, it's most likely also gonna be max monster level 70.
The idea of level 60/61/62/63 came from Blizzard's dream to have a super hard inferno that gives players months of progression. But then they decided to nerf everything to the ground because it's not appealing to farm act 1 for 2 months just to be able to proceed to the next act. Later on they introduced MP, set all monsters to 63 (let's face it, no one plays MP0) and made all items roll based on monster level. Base armor/damage is all that is left of level 58-62 items, and it doesn't even make a difference. Technically, we are all geared with loot that has exclusively level 63 affixes. Therefore, this "range" is a delusion and will be removed in RoS - 70 will be the new 63.

Everything you're saying makes sense, but I missed that blue post. Anyone have a link?
There will be a new iLvl, yes (because that makes the most sense w/raising the lvl cap). Currently, it's 70, tho, not 73.
Thanks, I remember that now. Sorry, I was getting player levels and monster levels confused, of course we won't be going to 73 in Inferno. Ok, so since items are going to capped at 70, it makes sense that monster levels would be the same. But that still means Inferno will be 70 exclusive and Hell will get you to that point.

I'm searching for it, but in the meantime just look at all the jawdropping legendaries from Gamescom. They're all level 70.
