Just thought of an idea that i haven't really formulated completely but I consider worth sharing.
What if gold in the game had a global limit that blizzard can adjust, so for example they can make the game drop no gold for some time until the ah cut gets rid of a certain amount of gold, so the prices get reasonable and gets deflated.
Once it gets low enaugh as total gold in game, they can make the % of the gold that is cut each time a transaction happens in the ah, to be the one that redistributes onto creeps and drops to players, or something like that, so it doesn't accumulate but just flows.
I'm sharing that cause the real money part was the biggest factor that got me into the game, and its not about having it as a job, but getting a few bugs from time to time to feel like not wasting your time, while everybody wins. It's a goal that would benefit everyone and mostly Blizzard, so I see no reason why they aren't they working on a solution as soon as possile, as surely there must be more than one.
Maybe some of our ideas, like this one, might provide the best solution and really make this a pioneer game in that kind.
"for example they can make the game drop no gold for some time until the ah cut gets rid of a certain amount of gold" that can't happen, people need that gold, there are players that are just starting... I think bots ruined this for us
