Some people are asking in other threads, who would be getting the CE...
Well, I just thought they ought to read the previous comments of other people who posted for this topic to give them some helpful insight as to why the Diablo III CE package is a sought out item, that even for some with the dough doesn't have the means to be able to get their hands on it... especially now that retail stores might already have ran out of stock for pre-orders. I mean, even if you have the money and you want it, good luck in finding a store that still sells it.
Yep! How they make lots of money is their marketing strategy, and they make a very good job of it.
That's why they are the big guys. They learned it from college and MANY years of experience.
Ironic for those who only dreams of owning the CE but doesn't have the extra bucks to purchase one.
So, I feel sorry to all these people, but Diablo III had been in the making for a very long time and like me,
there are people out there who are diehard avid Diablo fans who were there to support the game since
the very beginning when Diablo I came out in the market.
Whiners are those group of people belonging to the next generation who are not as avid Diablo fans as we are,
who had worked and saved every penny to be able to buy the CE of a much awaited game 4 years in the making...
a sequel to the first 2 installment we have loved and played since 1996.
Also, I'm pretty sure the 2 armor dyes aren't a new special color. If I remember correctly, the d3 website has the colors listed as one of the other colors.
Hell maybe even make it have a special effect. Like smoke causing a slight smokey effect around your character or something. To differentiate CE from reg
For many years the color purple was forbidden to all citizens of Kingsport outside of the Royal Family.
Compare the underlined text in all above. CE may have an area effect while other don't. At least not those they presented to us so far.
So I would stay optimistic regarding the special effects of the ce dyes
I'm of the opinion that while the in game extras may not be extremely rare and unique at first (maybe not for a year or 2 either), they will eventually hold some prestige much later in the life of the game.
When D3 is 10 years old and you stop seeing wings every day, when you finally do see someone with them you know they have been playing for an extremely long time (most likely).
So, I'm getting the in game extras because of how they make me stand out in the future, not now or even a few years from now. D3 is the type of game that you can expect to either stick with or come back to for a very, very long time, so that's how I see it.
BTW - Target has pre-orders still and has a release date delivery option.

Although like you said, still something vivid and visibly visual to distinguish it aside from the ordinary dyes would be awesome.

My PvP build would be different from these 13.

No, it won't be rare, vanilla WoW was a little rare, D2 CE was somewhat rare - all the ones since were shipped in massive quantities.
