with all said, a char like this does make scense, but what i would love to see is a character class made specifcally, of a confusion/poison class that thrives with a dagger! i will love that,
sorry i meant trap/poison build.... i was in a confused matter while writing thats why i wrote confused ( another reason why people should not always multi task) something im doing now
The Necromancer will (no doubt) be present NPC-wise and no doubt we'll be able to explore their underground city in the Jungles.
I mean, they really are important to the whole storyline..
Tra(n)g'Oul kept Sanctuary out of harms way for so long. :\

Blizzard is not responsible for the death and loss of your hardcore characters for any reason including Internet lag, bugs, Acts of God, your little sister, or any other reason whatsoever. Consult the End User License Agreement for more details. Blizzard will not, and does not have the capability to restore any deceased Hardcore characters. Don't even ask. La-la-la-la-la, we can't hear you..,
The necromancer is cool, but I wouldn't want him back as an assassin/summoner hybrid, because thats exactly what the Witch Doctor is. Necro summon + Assassin traps = Witch Doctor.
I'd prefer the necro to come back as someone who is more attuned with the spirits of the world, who talks to them and uses them to help him in a similar way that Mendeln does in The Sin War trilogy.
But yeah, this thread is in the wrong place. I'll close the poll and move it to the game suggestions section (polls are only allowed in the polls section, and you don't really need a poll for this).
I wouldn't mind a necrosin hybrid, but I think the Witch Doctor IS the replacement for the Necro's summoning skills. Besides, flaming diseased exploding zombie dogs are sooo much cooler than skeletinks (though I hope golems or something similar return). I think the Necro's going to be replaced by a more demon based class (see my sig)

Ranger - Ranged Weapon Mastery (fire a bow or javelins like a machine gun!), Traps (MK style!), Pets (lions, tigers, and bears oh my!) - physical damage based
Demonologist - Bone Spells (Necro style!), Avatar (shapeshift into a demon!), Furies (evil spirits that hang around you, giving party bonuses) - mix of physical damage and magic

Scythes were one of the coolest weapons in the game I thought. I hope they make them more versatile in D3.

Well, as long as he doesn't come with trap. He would make a good alternate fighter (one who use finese attack instead of brute force).
