I remember reading in the patch notes for 1.05 that the health globe bonus was supposed to affect the healing power of potions. Whenever I tooltip over my potions it doesn't show that it heals for anymore than the 12,500 life. Also, in the character detail it just lists health globe bonus and doesn't say anything about a potion bonus.
I have items with it on there. But it doesn't seem like I'm gaining the +2821 life extra. Other than on item descriptions I see no mentioning of it anywhere in the game so wasn't sure if it was. It also seems like a lot of people in game didn't know that it even was to be changed, so -tin foil time- Blizzard could have let it slide with it not going in since no one knows about it.
It's implemented, but since nobody will start stacking bonus on globe/potion, it's not really noticeable.
I guess my nickname is "nobody" then. I always try to get at least 10k health globe bonus, and my purely tank spec'd barb has even 20k. You won't feel any difference with +2k, but at 10k or 20 it IS noticeable.
