When you identify a unique item in d3, does it change its appearance like in the previous games?
and also if it does change, does it look different on your character? (Which I assume it probably would).

When you identify a unique item in d3, does it change its appearance like in the previous games?
and also if it does change, does it look different on your character? (Which I assume it probably would).
If it works like Diablo 2(probably will) you will loot a golden texted tier 1-18 armor piece/weapon. So for example: If tier 1 is called quilted and a legendary quilted chest is dropped you would see a "quilted chest" in golden text and once you identified it the item icon and possibly apperance of the chest, with some extra details,(and name of course) would change.

They're now called "Legendary", since no items are actually unique! Unique only referenced to the item only being able to drop once in any game.
