I emailed Blizzard and this is what i got in reply
Greetings,Thank you for emailing the Blizzard technical support department in regards toyour question. Although we have not made an announcement, there is always thepossibility that we will revisit the world of Diablo at some point in thefuture. For further information regarding future releases, please check our website - http://www.blizzard.com as this is the best place to receive the latestinformation about our games as it becomes available.Regards, Peter.
1) Don't copy and paste the whole web page.
2) We know that D3 has yet to be declared, however this isn't proof of whether or not they are currently working on it. What was said in the email has been said many times.
3) Blizzard is not going to ruin the surprise element of a possible Diablo announcement by telling a random fan everything going on.

If you ever meet a hafling and a hungry dragon you dont have to outrun the dragon, you only have to outrun the hafling.
No problem, I could have went to my mail and prolly found that email somewhere lol
OO, if they post a job opening for the diablo team send them the link and ask "What is this for??" they send you that back, I know is an automatic message but it just seems fishy no mention of d3 just asking a simple question

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
