So I have the flying dragon on my monk on this account. I am wondering if I should trade 8% damage for Life per spirit spent. It would drop by DPS. However I hear for survivability purposes in greater rifts Life per spirit spent is important for the flying dragon. Can anyone provide any suggestion on if this would be a good option? It's expensive to reroll this daibo so it would be hard to test and then enchant it again.
Not sure what you call expensive to reroll, and if that should really stop you.
However, I would suggest just to try 1 or the other (since you do have the dmg roll now, stick with it for now). If you feel you die to fast while you kill fast enough, you can change it. If you feel it is fine, you keep it. Everything depends on your other gear as well, so I don't think there is a single correct answer, apart from feeling.
That being said, I don't see any life regen (life on hit or life per spirit spent) on your items, so it might be needed to add them, with the weapon slot being able to have high rolls.
Thank you for the suggestions. Well, I have the ~8000 life on hit from paragon points. I also gain ~5300 life per kill. I currently have ~51% cdr and can go higher with Vigilante belt. I am wondering if I even need my Ring of Royal Grandeur with CDR and can use a life on hit Ring of Royal Grandeur in it's place. I am going to try a rift with double unity and see how it goes.
