I wrote the guide below to express my view on the changes regarding the 2.1 DH. I have decided to come here simply because Blizzard Forums are cutthroat and God Forbid you post your opinions, for your throat will be slashed. =/ Anyways, I hope you guys like what I have to say and please leave a comment of what you think on the Blizz forums below or here, either is fine. Thank you for your time! GLHF

The forum above will be revised shortly due to extensive testing that I have found validates a few new builds for T6 rifting. I will post my thoughts via Blizz forums and post links to them hear, I hope to hear your opinions.
First of all, he didn't attack you. At all. He posted an opinion which you said you wanted. Clearly you only want it if it's "Yes, I agree, you are like unto a god bdon1987." You are getting attacked in the Blizzard forum, but that is to be expected. You could be 100% right and be attacked there. However, you're not 100% right. Sorry, that's just how it is.
Don't get me wrong, we have a lot of useless skills. However, they're useless at high levels of play, when you should be focused on M6 anyway. Strafe is bad at high torment levels, I agree, but it doesn't have to be good. If you want all of the skills you mentioned (and you mentioned most of them) to be viable, you play Normal - T1. They are viable there. For the casual player, and there's nothing wrong with the casual player, they are viable.
For T6 play, for better or worse, M6 is where it's at. Be glad that it's not limited to one single element. Patch 2.1 proposes some good changes and almost all of them are for the better. Yes, M6 is still the king, but we will have more than two viable elements and more flexibility in our chosen spenders. There may even be a T6 viable build that comes out of Shadow Mantle and Nat's set, although it will be very gear specific. Most builds in the game are now unfortunately.
Get M6 and see if you still feel the way you do about the other skills. They are stepping stones. Things to level with. Things to play on lower torments with. Things you can enjoy if you want to but they are not going to make every skill and every build T6 viable. It isn't just DHs, all of the other classes have the same issues. Not every skill is a T6 skill.
Uh...overly defensive much OP? Not everyone who disagrees is going to do so with a dissertation and while it would be great if everyone could express themselves with politeness and civility, I have to say, I don't see where erav2000 was being rude.
