Let me know what I should upgrade and or with what stats to get the best bang for my buck. I only have a million gold. I really like having the high dex/vit gear and if I can get it with all resists even better. Is my bow holding me back?
I repaired and bought a new ring woot Thoughts on how to get more dps please, with examples would be great. I am having issues finding more dex on items, even without any vit.
Definitely missing dex on gloves, chest, and ammy. Might be hard to upgrade all those on 1mil, but you should be able to replace a couple at about 300k-500k apiece. I would also try to step up your cc to 30% with getting some on your ammy or rings and maybe a little more on gloves and quiver, but it seems this is out of your budget for now.
You could try to find a bow upgrade with dex and socket and +100 dps for under 1 mil, but I'm not sure that is the best investment right now. You'd have to play around with a spreadsheet to confirm.
Why do people call it DPS (damage per second)? I always called it "damage range", like it was displayed in Diablo II. Why would you care about how much damage per second you deal, when there are abilities that deal damage over time, burst damage, and various other things like life steal or crits. Maybe I'm just old school, but when did it start being called DPS?
Because it is damage per second like what your character profile says. Obviously your damage can vary base on your crit chance, weapon damage range, ability and weapon % damage, mark of death modifiers, passive damage boost modifiers, etc. etc.

Because the Damage number in Diablo 3 is effectively DPS without counting skills of course. That's why. Damage range is so much longer to write than DPS so why not?
I call it DPS because of WoW lol. Either way, I am debating whether or not I should buy a few mil gold and go from there, or if I should just wait tell 1.0.4 to buy items since they will be better.
Either way, I really want more damage over all. I can get through act 3/4 with what I have now, but I want some more damage so I can face roll things lol.
I don't wanna bump this topic to often or anything. But I found a few rings that have around 25% crit hit dmg and 3.5% crit hit chance some have +9min dmg and +10max dmg but usually the off stats aren't the best and they are sub 200k. Worth it to lose some crit hit dmg to gain the 3.5% crit hit chance? Thoughts?
