I got my 4th piece today (was running crit roll on helm, max disc roll on chest and crit dmg roll on ring) and i bought boots with a vit roll, sure i lost ~6k dps (now sitting at 72k no sharpshooter), but my god this set bonus is broken. Sitting at ~200 physical resist and 150 the rest of the resists, 4200 armor with enchantress and 36k hp... I dropped smokescreen and use shadow power with gloom now and the game is a lot easier.
Shadow power pretty much has 100% uptime if i run night stalker and i can take multiple hits and stay at full hp... the set bonus is brokenly overpowered.. to the point where im thinking of dropping preparation which has been on my bar since i got it.
Natalya's Chest or Sail still, or maybe something else? I for one am more about stacking dex and some attack speed, and having more dps than Nat's set can provide.
Here is another fun trick i found in conjunction with this set bonus.
Tactical advantage lasts 2 seconds after you vault/smoke screen and gives you an insane movement speed boost. Vault costs 8 discipline, and with tumble, the second vault costs 4 discipline. That means that you expend 12 discipline for every 2 vaults. If you vault, then run with tactical advantage's speed boost for 2 seconds, vault again, and repeat, you will be vaulting around the map, expending 12 discipline every 4 seconds. With Natalya's 4 piece bonus, you regen 3 discipline every second for a total of 12 discipline every 4 seconds. Get where I'm going with this?
With Natalya's 4 piece bonus, you can blaze across the map with vault and keep tactical advantage up 100% of the time for a zero net cost in discipline, ie -- FOR FREE.
I'm so torn. I have a decent chunk of gold to spend, and am stuck between picking up a Mark and Shadow to get 4p. Or should I hold out until the patch? I have several options, any advice would be great!
1) Pick up 2 more to get my 4p with the head and boots I have sitting in my bank
2) Spend gear to pick up higher end Dex pieces, to just start Dex stacking even harder
3) Buy a better than 1190 dps weapon (has 46% crit hit on it, could get something with more crit hit and some life on hit and build resist.
I would say 1) !, i've bought all 4 pieces of this set yesterday (ouch :S),
and I plan to sell them (at a more expensive cost :D) when a release date for the next patch will be announced,
and then buy them again with new and shiny stats
Fair enough, just sucks cause I'm missing Mark and Shadow, and it's looking like it's going to cost me a good 60 to 70 mil to pick up a nice one of each.

You can pick up a shadow without discipline for pretty cheap. If you have a quiver that gives you some discipline, that's really all you need. Max discipline is good when you're relying on preparation as your discipline battery, but less so when you're regenerating discipline at the rate that the set gives you. My discipline pool is only at 40 and i really never run out of discipline. My friend who also has the set is sitting at 37 discipline and he never runs out either.
Yeah, have a bid up on a decent Shadow right now, was about to buyout a 40mil Mark with Crit Hit on it (22%), but someone beat me to it, while I was thinking about it lol.
Let me know how you like it when/if you complete the set. I've not heard of a single person that was disappointed once they got it. I know one guy who dropped his 250 dex boots for a pair of nats boots that had no dex, and he's never going back.
Was luckily enough to snipe a pair of nats boots with 84 dex/77int and 59@res for 20 euro on the RMAH yesterday. Although my total dps is reduced to 84k without ss (only got 40 dex on my shadow with 10 discipline), the amount of time you get to freely dps more than compensate it
Yeah, I got a Shadow last night, no extra disc, but has 120 dex and 69 vit.
Someone sell me a pair of boots with +130 dext so I can test this :<. Will lose too much otherwise (already have to switch andariel's with a nats, at best it's -5% IAS = ouch).
we all know this will be nerfed, or "bug fixed"....nuff said
Just like you all knew NT was getting nerfed, right? I love the people that know things, like they work for Blizzard. Blizzard has not stated, and obviously changed this for a reason.
