Hey guys, I'm hoping you guys can help me out. I posted this over on the D3 forums this morning, but haven't had any luck getting a response, so hopefully you guys won't mind giving some advice.
So, the other day I was farming on my WD, when all of a sudden an ancient IKBB drops. I figured since Barb is about the only class I've never really played, it was fate telling me it was time to build one and learn. So last night I rolled up a Barb and crafted some gear for him (I know it's pretty terrible, but we all have to start somewhere, right?).
So with that said, I'm very unfamiliar with Barb stat priorities and builds and have started searching the forums to find something, but figured I would post to see if I could get some help from the community. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
My main questions are, what should I reroll into %Damage on the IKBB? My first thought would be Reduced CD, but I wasn't sure if Barb were a CD heavy class and I don't want to screw it up. Also, if anyone can link a good guide for both end game (I'm guessing IK4/WW6) build and also, and more importantly, something I can start using now while I'm trying to build up gear. My first priority tonight is to hit A1 bounties to get myself a decent RROG and then I guess after that, get to rifting to try and get some more set pieces, but are there any great starter builds out there that can help me farm faster? Also, I do have a couple of ancient 1 handers (nothing special) if it would be better to duel wield at first and move to 2-hand once I get more set pieces? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
You should reroll the CDR. If you have got a Ramladni's Gift, re-roll into 10% Dmg, If you haven't got a Gift, roll CDR into a socket, and when you get a Gift, roll the socket into 10% Dmg and apply the Gift.
IMHO 6Waste + 2BK is better for farming lower GRifts and T6, while 6Waste+4IK is better for pushing higher GRifts.
You really need the full sets for builds to shine. Should be fast to acquire in a group or use Blood Shards from your main character to gamble for the set pieces. If you don't have both BK weapons, I wouldn't chose dual wield over the ancient IKBB.
Thank you so much for your quick response! Is that a good build to use while I'm farming up all the set pieces as well or would I be better off using something else to farm until I get a few pieces of WW/IK?
The build could probably somewhat work with at minimum 2pc IK for the fury regen from ancients, but you would lack the survivability of 4WW, perma WOTB from 4IK and 6WW I think adds a pretty sizable damage boost as well. If you farm like 2k bloodshards on your main, you should probably be able to get a couple of those bonuses if you get lucky.

A good guide for a build that uses IKBB is the one on the front page: http://www.diablofans.com/builds/53986-6ww-4ik-gr50-55-whirlwind
