I'm definitely planning on the DH for my main but I haven't decided on which build to use and when. It seems like it will be pretty easy to re-spec in the lower levels with the lower runes since they will be easier to come by than the uber runes later on. It would be good to have a re-spec plan though so that while you are one spec, you can be saving up runes that you'll want to use the next time you re-spec.
Are ya'll planning on having a couple specs you switch between? Like start out levels 1-20 with a solo spec and then start teaming up with other peeps and get a more group-friendly spec? Or maybe run through Normal with a solo spec and go with a group spec after? Or maybe just keep one spec all the time with a PVP focus?
You can pick a new spell in the middle of the fight, but it will be on cooldown for 30 sec, so it's not recommended. But it's true, that you can completely rewamp your build in matter of seconds(actives, runes, passives). AFAIK if you change your spells in town, you don't even have to wait for 30 sec anymore, but didn't watch any stream to confirm.
Ahh, gotcha... I just caught up with the new skill changes. So it will probably make sense to have 3-4 builds at the ready. For the DH, maybe:
a ranged DPS-focused build (mostly for groups where you have a tank)
an AOE build (for lots of little baddies)
a solo build (movement restriction and vaulting)
Any others people can think of? We might have to switch gear a little with each build though so my inventory might be full of build-specific gear so I can find a telephone booth in the middle of a dungeon and change my build/costume.
