Summary: Whirlwind/Aoe damage based build. Can be used with 2hander (faster dps)or 1h/shield at higher difficulties( Survivability)
Primary:Cleave w/ Reaping Swing rune Cleave deals good damage and the rune is the main way of generating fast amounts of fury when War Cry is on cooldown.
Secondary: Whirlwind w/ Volcanic Eruption rune
Main damage dealer, focus of build.
Spell #1 Leap w/ Call Of Arreat rune Leap serves as an initiator with it's rune as it sucks in mobs and clusters them for your WW/Cleave, almost essential for a WW build since it makes hitting every enemy at the same time infinitely easier.
Spell #2 Earthquake w/ The Mountain's Call rune Earthquake deals very good aoe damage. Because of all your rage in this build going into WW,the rune The Mountain's Call makes it so that this spell is an instant cast and free source of aoe damage, without interupting the channeling of WW.
Spell #3 Battle Rage w/ Marauder's Rage rune
Always keep this on. 30% extra damage stacked with your Brawler passive = pain. Without this WW becomes too weak with a 1h/shield to be effective.
Spell #4 War Cry w/ Charge rune
Vital to making this build work.Extra armor is nice but the key is the rune. 60 fury instantly lets you precast Battle Rage, puts the armor buff on, and leaves you with 40 rage to start with, when coupled with Leap's fury thats 55 fury right as you leap into a pack. 1-2 Cleaves on a good pack = full rage instantly.
HOWEVER
War Cry is ideally going to be precast before fights so that it can be recast during your WW channeling to boost your fury back up and keep it going.
PASSIVES
#1 Brawler
Aoe destruction. Boost that WW damage.
#2 Nerves Of Steel
Survivability, stack vit gems for monster hp which in turn adds armor. Even if you use a 2hander I'd suggest keeping this as it adds so much more survivability. We all know what happens when your WW stops channeling in front of a pack.
#3 Animosity
Fury is key to this build, the fury generation makes life alot easier since Cleave already builds a good chunk of fury.
Casting Order:
Before battle, War Cry, Battle Rage Leap (+15 fury, pulls everything together) Earthquake (If the mobs are worth the use if not skip this) WW War cry (Use when fury drops to refill 60 rage without even having to stop the WW) WW Cleave (When fury is low, start Cleaving, positioning is vital as Cleave's rune gives fury based on enemies hit. One good cone in front of you and you could get 20+ fury per swing not including Cleave's built in fury generation) WW Warcry WW
Etc
Etc
Whirl Wind - Wind Shear would be a better rune for your whirlwind. You lose some WW damage but with just 4 mobs near you it becomes self sustaining. More mobs and you generate more rage than you spend to use it. That would free up runes for other things. Like more armor or life regeneration from War Cry or a better passive than animosity.
