*This build is BASED on Thorns, so you want as much THORNS DAMAGE as possible!,
-
THE CUBE IS BUGGED HERE ON DIABLOFANS ... The CHEST is supposed to be either Aquila Cuirass (if equipped Heart of Iron) or Heart of Iron (if equipped Aquila Cuirass)

Good Information about HOW THORNS WORKS:

There is multiple good setups for Weapon/Shield, I'd recommend:
a) T10: DB + LW or AA
Solo Push: PS + AA
c) Grift Speeds: DB + AA
d) Grift Push: PS + VS or AA
* Having correct stats is the most important thing! So if your LW is perfectly rolled and ur AA is junk, then use ur LW.
** LW = Lidless Wall (shield) --- BTW a tip for all, if you need a better Lidless Wall, then craft it on a barbarian. Your 8 times more likely to get a Lidless Wall on a barbarian from blood shards and upgrading rares to legendaries with Death Breaths than on a crusader.
** DB = DoomBringer (weapon)
** PS = Pig Sticker (weapon)
** AA = Akarats Awakening (shield)

SKILL ROTATION: Law/Prophet > Iron Skin (Phys CoE) > Consecration > Punish
-
Great Tips / Suggestions for the build:
1. Use Iron Skin and Consecration / Bombardment when you have +200 % Physical dmg from CoE.
2. In order for Belt of Trove to use "Barrels of Spikes" rune you must have Bombardment equipped.
3. Most important part of Belt of Trove, is to keep up the 50 % DMG Reduction from (4) set bonus.
4. ... (make comment if u got suggestions)

Needs to be Tested (feel free to help test):
A) Sanguinary vambracers if they work with (2) piece invokers
B') Hack, if it works multipliactive with strg and how much % dmg increase it is
C) Omnislash belt, see if it makes Punish deal AOE dmg. Maybe even procs Hack.
D) Slash, use rune Zeal. Reaching 3 attack per second, might work with Hack!
E) Voy'Toyias Spiker, See if it works multipli- or additive. Works with skills or not? Better than arats awakening?
F) Iron Skin, if you use it before Consecration, does it work for 4 seconds or all 10 seconds?
G) Snapshot, is Iron Skin / Thorns dynamic or static?
H) Blood Brother vs. The Mortal Drama, which one is the best?
I) Block cap? Do we go way above block cap with Blood Brother?
H) ... (make comment if u got suggestions)

Here is how the game-play of an Invoker Punish Crusader looks like:
<--- The Build (IN REAL LIFE)
This build is part of The Ultimate Guide for Patch 2.4.1- Season 6, with all the new builds for all classes, you can see the spreadsheet here:

I'm guessing The Wailing Host should be The Compass Rose? May want to edit that.
as good as last season
its Great , that they buffed this build !
is hack + spiker and the skill change really worth dropping The CDR from AA? I can pretty much have iron skin and consecration up within like 5 seconds due to the cooldown reduction. Not to mention being able to have Champion active almost 100% of the time due to the CDR.
does belt still proc the 4 piece?
I meant is it worth giving up AA for spiker + hack and the skill changes? It seems like you're losing out on a lot of damage not being able to have champion, consecration and iron skin up pretty much 24/7. Once you drop AA even having high amounts of CDR you're not going to be able to have nearly as much uptime as you would with AA due to high block %. I'll try out this build but I'm not convinced its better yet.
Planner plz thx !!
What changed this season that hack is now better than pig sticker? Is it just the buff to the 2pc?
whoops didn't even notice it was cubed. The buggy cube issue on the site threw me off. That makes sense its cubed then. I'll have to test this out tonight then. Need to get a spiker shield first.
Hey Drahque, why not use Consecration with Bed Of Nails this time ?
Nice build btw!
um.. why this build is the difference between the planner? which one is better?
Thank you for your kind response :xD:!
Working on getting gear, but question... you use belt of Trove, but you don't use bombardment as a skill. Does it cast regardless? Also, is this build mostly for grift progression or would use use for t10 farming too?
will still give the damage resistance buff from 4pc Invoker.
Returning to the game after awhile. How come all hacks I see have a low damage? I know its a thorns build but just curious. I assume making level 70 yellows and cubing axes is the best way to farm for a good one. are people doing it with low level ones? kind of lost. sorry for the random question!
from what i've learned playing build, all of your dmg from hack comes from the % multiplier of your thorns damage. having 1000 fire damage when you have 150,000 thorns damage doesn't really do much, while rolling the damage to something like LPH or LPS gives you much more sustain.
I've been able to finally get all the gear besides the traveler's pledge for this build. How important is the endless walk set bonus to this build? Thank you once again for the great build!
So I am a little confused. Why would you use bane of the trapped exactly? I looked everywhere on this build and I don't see where it will actually proc. Can someone tell me where in this build we use a control impaired skill to proc the gem? or is it just when you hit level 25 on the gem that it becomes usefull?
I am using the gogok of swiftness gem, leveled to 25 and its awesome. really works well with bringing down the cooldown. Any reason why that is not a superior gem?
I have been using this setup and I got through mid 50 GR solo's pretty easily and then around 57 hit a bit of a wall. My gear isn't Ancient and some things need better optimization etc.. I also need to level gems higher and get more Para. But just out of curiosity, what would you guys say is a basic benchmark for this build? What kinda Str/Vit/AR/Thorns/CDR etc... stats do you want to see to sorta feel that you're at a good place overall? Thanks!
I could be wrong but it seems from what I read that the Rank 25 affect is what slow and therefore applies the damage modifier as well.
