Build Guide
This build is absolutely NO STRESS. A few changes can make it slightly faster, but 4 min clears are good enough for me, as well as 400-500 DB per hour.
I prefer the no-stress, don't worry about cooldowns, just kill everything faster than everyone else, but too lazy to farm perfect items, kind of builds. This build will be faster than 95% of other people trying to speed farm TX. And it is the EASIEST to gear for TX, as other classes' speed builds run out of steam around T8 until you can get decent gear (like anything LoN based). Not having to worry about CHC/CHD is one of the biggest advantages of building Invoker. Yes, a decent Wiz can out damage and clear quicker, but i don't wanna have to worry about not killing another elite pack before in-geom runs out, or having trouble with the first group, or spending more than 2 days gearing to completely destroy anything in TX.
Start with standard Invoker build, use RoRG to enable Nemesis bracers. With CDR on a few pieces, you will have perma-Steed. Steed through everything until you see an elite group, pop 1, 2, 3, 4 and start punishing away. 2 seconds later (4 seconds if multiplayer), repeat. Use Prophet rune if you feel squishy, or if you don't want to even look at your health bar, ever.
In-Geom is still recommended since with permanent 175%-205% movement speed you'll find another group before Iron Skin/Consecrate cooldown. Not required though, a fast Pig Sticker will kill TX fast enough. Akarat's will always be up if using Akarat's Awakening, since I run through big crowds on purpose on the way to next pack of elites. Lidless is another option for the phys%.
With very mediocre gear (I still have INT on 2 pieces!), I'm leaving everyone else behind and getting ahead of them by an entire map, stopping just to kill elites and collect DB. Aim for 200k total Thorns on sheet. You will NEVER die due to maintaining almost all of the toughness from standard invoker build, even if you're standing in molten+arcane+plague. And it's such an easy transformation since you only have to swap out a few items and skills when you feel like doing speed runs.
Much better than the Norvald's Invoker speed build. GG.
Not sure what Im doing wrong, but with over 40% CDR I dont have permasteed
Workinf very well for me. Very fun too. Thanks for the good guide!
