I REALLY hope that you meant Legacy of Nightmares ring set instead of the Bastions of Will ring set in your guide.
Id really like to see a stat priority too!
You could sub out taeguk for wreath and cubed quang staff if speeding lower grifts/bounites etc. I have a similar build in NS and it's pretty neat freeze exploding a whole screen of mobs at a time. Using pandemonium (madstone vs leorics, because it saves spirit for aquilla 50% damage reduction and why bother manually applying when you can palm everything) and master of wind instead of serenity and flash for now. Lots of fun.
The basic gameplay for this is as follows:
Channel tempest rush to stack the flurry buff. FInd a target you wanna blow up and tap EP on a smaller target near it. EP will trigger before the flurry explosion and cause a double explosion. Make sure to cast blind before you blow up. Use Epiphany and Serenity defensively as they don't interrupt your flurry.
I really have to agree that serenity doesn't fit in this build but it's w/e lol. I was never really a fan of this playstyle. I did get a kick out of the fire epiphany/fire SW/fire TR build that was around back in the vanilla game though.
Looked really tough on hardcore, just can't keep up that Aquila buff consistently. Those big exploding palms look fun. Seems like you hit a brick wall regarding how much damage you were taking in 75 rifts. How did you feel about doing 70 solo rifts? How safe was it doing 60's in a group?
I wil say, I'm finding this build to be very effective in GR65 so far. I haven't had the chance to try beyond that though... but 65 was a breeze and I didn't even have the Fist of Az'Turrasq on(had Rimeheart to see how it did). I can only imagine with the Fist the damage will be much better. I feel the best part about this build is just how mobile it is... which also helps to prevent a lot of damage.
I find it weird you're utilizing Serenity though, as I prefer keeping Sweeping Wind + Inner Circle on for 8 SPS on top of the 4 from my Air Ally. Then I have the Ice Climber boots equipped as any kind of immobilization or freeze would effecitvely kill me. That's basically another 12 SPS that'll keep me even closer to the Aquila's 50% reduction. It feels like the character needs right at about 20 or 21 SPS and ~37% RCR to balance them out and keep the Aquila bonus going at all times.
Even if this build works as intended, it is still bad because you have 2H weapon and not 2 weapons
meaning: LoN now gives you 12 ancient item bonus and not 13....so 100% less damage and 4% less reduced damage taken
why is this build even upvoted?
This is not a build. This is a nothing.
