disconnect from server on greater rifts

  • Hi I have problem since yesterday. When I play GR I get disconnected.
It seems to be the case only on GR but happened few times on normal rifts as well when I was playing with my friend. You have WinMTR report underneath.

  • Ikeo,

You have an EU Battle.net and Diablo III account and play only in the EU, but you ran your WinMTR test to the US Data Center.

Run the test again please, twice, once to each of the below addresses and we'll see if anything sticks out.

    185.60.112.157
    185.60.112.158

Note, this sort of test is really means to show the connection's quality. A disconnection isn't going to show anything but if a router hop is showing a problem, it could be related.

If you're using a wireless modem, try running it in a wired setup first, even if it's just temporary to see if it's more stable.

I'd also like to know the brand and model # of the modem you're using.
  • Ikeo,

If your laptop uses the same internet connection as your desktop PC, we can safely conclude the connection itself is ok. That leaves your desktop PC as being where your problem is coming from.

I'll need to see your system files next. Instead of posting them here though as they can be pretty large, send them to me via an email at [email protected] attn:Omrakos

This support article describes how to create the two files

  • Ikeo,

The only applications I see in use that could possibly be related are:

AVG and the various apps it can include
    TeamViewer 12
    Nvidia's GeForce Experience (Shadowplay)

Try to get the apps above all temporarily disabled. Rebooting in selective startup mode may be helpful for that.

Then run a couple of Greater Rifts and see how well it does.
