Your net code is bad and you should feel bad.

  • I tried to make this post before but apparently the forums are as inconsistent as Diablo 3's net code.

    Why is the net code so bad tied to latency? I mean if you are going to make an online only game the least you could do is put some effort into the net code.

    Lots of games these days have client side hit detection with server checking to improve playability so why doesn't this game?

    Why is the rubber banding so bad? Some times I can't even walk through the swamp things in act 2 because it keeps rubber banding me back to the edge.
