Display sleep uses game resolution after play

  • Arc
I have an iMac 27" with native resolution of 2560x1440, but play diablo3 beta at either 1920x1200 or 1680x1050. I also require a password to unlock the computer after putting the display to sleep.

After playing d3, if i put the display to sleep, then wake it, the password entry screen is the size of the game resolution, but is displayed on the full resolution screen. In other words, my background image is displayed at 1680x1050 starting in the upper left corner, then there is a large black area filling the gap at the right and lower edges to make up the resolution difference between 16x10 and 25x14. The password dialog box is centered in the 16x10 area in the upper left. Screenshots are not allowed at the lock screen...

killall Dock does NOT fix this problem. A reboot does, but I haven't found a workaround or fix yet.
  • Thanks for the report, I will send this up to the team.

@Swaminarayan- This seems to be a diffenet issue. Please create a new thread so that we can track it.
