Vicarious Visions Merges With Blizzard!
Vicarious Visions, the studio behind the recent re-makes of Crash Bandicoot and Tony Hawk Pro-Skater 1+2, has officially been merged with Blizzard according to this gamesindustry.biz article! As stated in the report, the Vicarious Visions team will now be dedicated to existing Blizzard games and initiatives. We reported on a potential Diablo II Remaster being made by Vicarious Visions last year, and this merge supports the rumor that it may very well be happening.
The Darkening of Tristram
The Darkening of Tristram anniversary event is currently live in Diablo III, and players have until January 31 at 4:00pm PST to complete the event and earn the exclusive transmogs, achievements, portraits, pet, legendary gem, and more! Season 22 is also live in Diablo III, and this event can provide players with a unique way of leveling if they have yet to start their seasonal journey!

Posted Jan 23, 2021Vicarious Vision is responsible for the greatest moments in Destiny 2 (perfect fps with loot like Diablo!). They did the Warmind expansion, added in Forsaken and freed up time for Bungie, then rocked it with Season of Opulence with the Menagerie. Stoked to see a good team working on yet another classic. Diablo 2 is hard to get into anymore by its dated features like movement, inventory management, and unforgiving skill tree/character stats.

Posted Jan 24, 2021The stash needs redone, and the horrendous drop rates of top end items. I don't want a Deaths web or tyraels every other day. But at least 1 drop every couple hundred hours of play should be reasonable and achievable.
What needs to be kept extra rare are the min max stuff . Like soketables and charms with top end affix combo.

Diablo 4 will be the new game...not this one!
