Top 2-Player Builds From Season 19
Because Greater Rift 150 is the current GR cap, the high-end group meta in Diablo III has become a question of who can clear a Greater Rift 150 the fastest, rather than who can reach the highest potential Greater Rift level. The result of this is that builds will slowly evolve throughout a season within the group meta to focus more on speed and the ability to wave-clear, which is the ability to kill large groups of enemies quickly.
A staple of the group meta for Season 19 was the support Barbarian. Support builds have been present for quiet some time in the group meta of Diablo III, but the Barbarian has muscled out the rest in recent seasons. Since one of the two spots were filled by a support Barbarian in the top 2-Player meta, the question then became what class and build was the second player bringing. Necromancer and Crusader were some clear choices for many people; however, the class that was most represented in the top 2-Player 150 clears was the Legacy of Dreams Star Pact Archon Wizard.
You can find the builds of top 2-Player clear from Season 19 below, which was a GR 150 completed in 3:20! A total of 564 Greater Rift 150 clears were completed on the 2-Player leaderboard across all regions for Season 19. As a reminder, Paragon levels play a large role in the ability of these builds to push as high as they do, and simply replicating the builds will not yield similar results! The Pandemonium kill-streak buff from Season 19 also helped play a part in the clear speed of some groups, and we expect Season 20 to result in fewer 150 clears across the board--even with the addition of several new class sets to change up the meta!
