Double Treasure Goblin Event Is Live!
The double treasure goblin event has gone live, and will end on Thursday, November 9 at 5:00pm PST! The event will end when the new season begins; however, it should provide some extra fun in Diablo until the start of season 12! You can view the full blog post below.

We want to help you stretch your muscles and get prepared for the latest patch with a special in-game event—double Treasure Goblin spawns! Each time you encounter a single Treasure Goblin, they’ll be hanging out with a buddy whose bags are overflowing with all your favorite treats and treasures.
This Double Goblin event will begin in the Americas region on November 6 at 5:00 p.m. PST, and ends on Thursday, November 9 at 5:00 p.m. PST.
Note: This buff does not affect the number of goblins encountered via a Bandit Shrine, Goblin “Rift” packs, or in the Realm of Greed.
We hope you’re excited for all the balance changes crammed into Patch 2.6.1, and we look forward to hearing about your upcoming Season 12 adventures. In the meantime, good luck, have fun, and we’ll see you in Sanctuary!
Okay so I see what you are trying to do Bliz and I love you and everything you do. However, this event is killing me. It is simply a shell of its former self. I remember the double goblin event way back in one of the early seasons, which was awesome by the way, that made farming for these giggly demons worth my time. Now I have never commented on anything here to my recollection, but this rubbed me wrong like date night with a box of extra course sandpaper. To enlighten those on what this event should have been, and what those who didn't play d3 in the early seasons missed out on, this is what I was looking forward to or to exceed my expectations and then watched it fall short.

We just want the loots and the only reason we play this game is for the love of the loot and R.N.Gesus screwing us over. Im looking at you Kadla.

No double Menagerist or Insufferable Miscreant. Gel goblin doubles are cool.
Yeah, I was hoping, that when you find a goblin, another random goblin would be around (so higher chance for rainbow goblins, as this is the main reason for me to hunt goblins - in season hunting them for mats would be a different story though), not this - another goblin of the same type.
Still hunting those Cosmic Wings...
So the other regions don't get anything?
It is live on EU servers, too
Pointless. If it was during the season I might've cared.
So more non-season junk to horde? No thanks.
I don't even bother bring my season stuff over to nonseason. Its just not worth it with how frequently they change items and how easy you can find a full set. No im going back to d2 when the ladder resets
yep, this was also useless to me.
With currently the leaderboards being down I had absolute no incentive to go for some NS demon hunting.
I start the season on day 1 when this goblin buff is obsolete again.
I know why they didn't do that, but we needed that event simultaneously with the patch to make any sense and not 2-3 weeks afterwards...
