Ever since Blizzard and Facebook have gone into business together with their streaming service I always hoped it was a precursor for a much bigger partnership. I for one would love to see Facebook's oculus technology showcasing Blizzard Games, maybe starting with a VR Diablo. Can you imagine what it would be like to be one of your favorite classes? PVP and PVE could be potentially amazing! Maybe this isnt realistic because this would probably take another 3 to 4 years if they are looking for a UI/UX designer.
Hopefully a Blizzard employee will see this and bring it up to someone higher up in the food chain, if no one has thought of doing this.
Doubt it on the sheer principle that, if Blizzard releases a Diablo 4 right now, they're cannibalizing not only their own fanbase, but any and all potential profits in order to run two games (D3 and D4) with consistent updates to maintain their relevancy to the playerbases. There is nothing D4 can "fix" that an expansion cannot overhaul in its entirety based on the problems I've seen people complain about. Diablo 3 is still, technically, too current and too invested in for Blizzard to say, "Lets drop these X-million concurrent players and attempt to garner back the fewer million to come back."
That's not how it works, in any industry, ever.
Why would they run both D3 and D4? That makes no sense whatsoever. What "profits" are they making from D3 at the moment?
Why would they kill off D3 and force many to move onto D4 (and more likely back to D2)? That makes way less sense. Cause their investing in their own games, licensing on products (how else do they get people and sell their Blizzcon merch?) and people are -STILL- buying the games, even now. It's why they're still running D2 and SC. Though with current tech is minimal efforts. D3 isn't at that stage of its life.
By your logic is why bother making expansions when they can just make a D4, and then a year later a D5. It'd force more profits cause people would start over, just like they do with literally just about any FPS game on the market to this date.

Try the phone industry?? There's one off the top of my head after 2 seconds of thought.

Are you telling me that Apple outdates your old phone and causes many other carriers to drop any and all of last year's models and services for those models to encourage you to get the new one?
How am I even able to find accessories and call my family/work from my three year old phone now if this was a reality?
yes thats what they do... when I install old version of skype it works on my firs iPad... but when I try to install the latest it says upps buy the latest one because you are missing iOS 9.x. its not about calling or texting, its about apps... on older iPhones you cant do shit, I forces you to buy newer one. Same goes for android, but android has better possibilities, and it depends on the company if they wanna release new android version on their phones.
Around 1st minute:
"They listed UI Designer? It is highly unlikely what the changes coming to Diablo 3 user interface after all this time."
So nobody is doing they homework, apparently. Nor read the source materials. And on top of than not-knowledge building speculations.

"Blizzard Entertainment is currently looking for an experienced, creative, and artistically talented user interface (UI) designer for Diablo 3. The UI designer will work closely with the lead UI designer, art director, and game designers to conceptualize the visual style and interactive experience for Diablo 3 and any future projects with the franchise."
Also very sad to see how community chased sensations made from blue sky, like DiabloII.net forum posting from restaurant guy Pharaohmancer, what next instalment is not Diablo 4, nor is it a Diablo 3 expansion and "plays differently". Without anything that can support him.
And completely ignoring FACTS of hiring John Mueller as new art-director for Diablo. (apparently my earlier comment with link to Diablo II dot net forum was flagged as spam. How cute.)
Which had been confirmed by Blizzard himself in Blizzcon 2016 schedule:
"Get the inside scoop on what’s in store for Diablo III! Join us as Lead Designer Kevin Martens, Senior Game Designer Wyatt Cheng, Lead VFX Artist Julian Love, and Art Director John Mueller share the gritty details on the celebration plans that lie ahead for all our eager nephalem."
Oh, we can once again post comments even with adblock. I guess you finally understood that some of us will never give up adblock no matter the cost.
That cost is death to the community- and fan-sites.
If the ads weren't shoved in my face 24/7 I wouldn't block them. A simple "click here to see a short ad that will help us pay for our bills" would be completely different. I would actually click the damn thing, once a day.
If the website dies they've only got themselves to blame. As another user said, the entire site becomes an ad without adblock. This isn't acceptable and I will block these no matter what.

This is a hyperbole.
I have Ad-Block disabled for many different sites I use. But the ones here are so annoying I refuse to lift my ad-block until it gets toned down.
Who really cares about activision-blizzard and games like d3 or 4?!
The game is dead since early 2013,so I'm not interested,no matter they announce diablo 4 FOR FREE without in-game items and give me a CE copy of it.
R.i.p Diablo 3+
You care so little that you're on a Diablo fan site posting in a thread about the future of a game you don't want even for free? 1/10 troll quality score.
All I would like to do is farm Mephisto/The Council/Shenk/Diablo/Baal etc. like back in the days. Item greed for the win, Gheed is my witness.
Of course I wouldn't spend as much time as when I was younger, work 4tw, but still I would like to farm again...
make characters permanent choices, not reskilling on the fly. Damn it - Diablo III gives you a new 70 character in a few hours, so why not having to relevel if you mess it up?
Get back to lvl 99 or something similar. It was better to not even once reach lvl 99 (or only hardly by farming a lot) and put that char in your trophy chest than to endlessly farm paragon levels, what a boring thing to do without any milestone left.
I don't really understand this. I see many, many comments about how D3 sucks because it's just rifts (I hate that too) but that D2 was great.
But D2 was just get powereleveled through to Hell A5, then sit while a sorc TPed to Baal, then kill Baal a hundred bajillion times, where whoever had the fastest internet connection to their clicking bot program got loot. Then go off alone and farm the same few bosses over and over and over and over and over and over to try and get to a level that was so ridiculous barely anyone even bothered with it.
I loved Diablo 2 but it had many many problems, and asking for D3 to go back to D2 wouldn't fix the many many problems D3 has.

Good video, overall. But details...
