Note that using Fulminator or Thunderfury with Wyrdward does not result in AOE stuns. Procs can't proc procs, so you will only see stuns on mobs the Templar actually hits himself (assuming the damage roll on the weapon is "xxxx-yyyy lightning damage").

Sorc > Templar by far for awhile now as long as you aren't starving for resource and need Templar skill. Hex is and has been just too good for elite packs.
