Legacy of Nightmares Final Numbers

John Yang tweeted that the plan is to ship Patch 2.4 with Legacy of Nightmares giving 100% bonus damage per Ancient item equipped. Read below.

A few players are wondering if Patch 2.4 will have all the same PC features on consoles too, and if the release date will be the same. The official Diablo Twitter replied to these question saying that the patches should be pretty much the same and release in the same date. Read below.

Nope! Nearly everything you see (with the notable exception of info on seasons) will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One.
How long afterwards do patches come to PS4 after PC update?
Same day. We haven't announced the date quite yet, but PS4 will get it right alongside PC.

Final PTR Patch Commentary

MeatHeadMikhail has released the 3rd part of his commentary videos on the Patch 2.4 PTR. This one discusses the latest changes applied to the current PTR build, which is likely to be the version we'll see go live in a few weeks.

100% more damage is a good value. However they should have made 2 handed weapons count for two items.

With it at 100% you are at the sametime sacrificing two ring slots which is a huge deal. Now that a lot of sets got buffed to doing 1250+ damage with build in damage reduction AND you get the choose all two ring/cube slot. The LoN set up is a joke, for fun thats it but really no top tier builds unless, let me guess, generator monk build and thats probably it. zzzzzzzzzzzz Fail.

in the leaderboards, there's :

carnevil wd,

wiz with shi mizu (and death bargain),

crus thorns,

a impale dh (i think)

i haven't seen a monk and barb with lon

And i have a lot of idead for lon builds:

a pure sweeping build monk

an ep monk

a generator proc monk

a generator wiz

a pure rapid fire dh / a pure strafe dh

a frenzy barb

mb a generator crus

Strafe DH is what I will be playing for sure. I've always loved this skill and played it extensively when M6 was the only way to go. I didn't mind being behind since it was really fun. Of course finding the items will be a bit annoying, and losing them even more, but I think in the end it will be worth it. I can't decide on physical or fire, physical does more damage on the skill itself, but then again you have more fire boosting items like cindercoat and magefist.

i"ll go with a frenzy barb (my favorite). I was under 25% a LOT in the PTR when i tested this build and this was in HC, so shi mizu could work

The others builds, i'll do them on non seasonal

I think the point of keeping something like this is you can do high level content even if you have terrible luck with getting the set you want. its boring to run t3 repeatedly while getting shit drops. each season has been different for me. season 1 i was over 300 paragon before i had a set i wanted. season 2 i had my set at under 50 and then season 3 i was a little over 200. If i can get these two rings and jump into higher levels while i farm it makes it more fun imo.

You think that point of set based around all ancient eq is to be used before you get 6pc? Seriously? You know that you can transmute set items in cube?

Getting ancient items is much more difficult than obtaining a set item, in the cube, sure you can use it for rerolling the item to be ancient as well, but it is extremely resources demanding and there is still pretty low chance to get it. Playing extensively on PTR with crazy drop rate, which is about 20times higher I believe, I was not able to get all necessary ancient items for LoN build within 25hours of gameplay. So thats about luck. I still believe that LoN builds, for a casual player, will be possible only at the end of the season...
Thats just the thing it takes a lot of work to find the legs you want, and be ancient and have good affix stats too. Then do that 13times, granted a few will just be whatever legs pending the build but thats a lot of work for not a great end result. You get the same or less damage than most sets PLUS you lose two ring slots, No thanks.

Well now at least, and for a little while actually the sets are damn near literally handed to you.

Gl finding LoN set and full ancient gear before 6p of any set =)
You get one set from season reward (2p reach lvl70, another 2p from killing Kulle and last two pieces from doing GR 20.) So 5-7 hours after season start you will have full 6p and farming t7.

Not at all.

Back in the day users posted similar comments about us featuring his videos, since they're usually a little more light hearted and meant for a different audience than your average "ultra hardcore top GR Quin build" video. The usual comment was that the contents of his videos were too "bland" for most players. But since then I think the public opinion shifted a bit, with players seeing more value in his videos, and even appreciating them - at least judging from the comments posted on Youtube, feedback and votes (thumbs up/down).

Just like with every other video or community made content that we highlight here on DiabloFans (Anthony Evans, Rhykker, Deadset, Quin, philosophios, Alkaizer, Jaetch, mannercookie... cosplays, fanarts) the point is giving visibility to anyone who contributes with Diablo related content - and who puts their time and effort towards helping the community

With that clarified, is there any sort feedback you would like to give about this particular video? Something you particularly disliked about it? Does it contain content you deem incorrect or not worth of a player's time? No sarcasm intended - I'm really interested in knowing it.
