2.2.1 Hotfixes and Carnevil Bug
A hotfix has been pushed out earlier today to fix a bug where receiving fatal damage at the end of Akarat's Champion would make the buff last forever. On a similar note, there's currently an issue with WDs that prevents Fetishes from shooting even when you have a Carnevil equipped - they're working on a solution. Read below.

Below you will find a list of hotfixes recently applied or coming soon that address various bugs or mechanic tweaks.
These hotfixes should not require you to download a new patch. Some of the hotfixes below will go live the moment they are implemented while others may require restarting the game to go into effect. - Fixed an issue where if a player received fatal damage at the exact moment Akarat's Champion (Prophet) ended, the buff would be maintained permanently (5/21) (Blue Tracker / Official Forums)
Carnevil Bug
We're currently looking into an issue where Fetishes sometimes forget to shoot despite the fact the Witch Doctor has a Carnevil equipped. Posted May 22, 2015For people who understand how multiplicative and additive mechanics work in Diablo 3 that might be very obvious, but it still seems useful for other (newer) players who are either coming back and first seeing Legendary Gems or never really got into the game

Posted May 22, 2015Sometimes you see 'double' damage numbers because of the attack range on weapons. So yes, it's a simplification for the general population, but the actual math can get a little 'hairy' once you get a bunch of buffs/debuffs going. For example, 20% on CTW won't necessarily always be a 20% total damage increase, since it's a 'class A' debuff. See: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/14058607023

Posted May 24, 2015@Hebalon - I mean have you tried it with other DEBUFFS? The point is CTW from what I know is still class A, so other 'increases damage taken by X' are in the category, kind of how DIBS works. It's kind of a moot point because DH doesn't have any other debuffs from what I know, but for example I believe CTW and Cold Blooded are additive.
