Warlords of Draenor Beta - Build 18935
V3dun's "Void Ray" Wizard
This week's Play Your Way build pays homage to the deadly Starcraft 2 flying unit, the Void Ray - with a Ray of Frost-based Wizard. Check a snippet below, or the full detailed guide here!

About the Build:
Many channeling skills were updated in patch 2.1.0, especially the Wizard's. V3dun#2884 was already experimenting with Ray of Frost and his Light of Grace prior to the patch, and the tools and tweaks that came along allowed him to explore further and climb higher. Today, we're going to dig into his discoveries!I'MMA FIRIN' MAH LAZOR!
V3dun chose to name this build after the Void Ray from StarCraft II, pointing out two major comparisons between his build and the Protoss unit. Not only do the Ray of Frost visuals look similar to the Void Ray's Prismatic Beam, but the mechanics are reminiscent—in Wings of Liberty, the longer a Void Ray locked onto its target, the more damage it did over time.

The Items:
The Void Ray build is Legendary heavy, and you’ll certainly be looking for a few specific pieces to get it rolling. However, even if you're lacking a few integral items for higher level Torment difficulties or Greater Rifts, you can also make it work at lower gear thresholds by focusing on certain stats as outlined below.
V3dun has many of his recommended items, though it's clear there's room to chase just a few more!
Patch 2.1.1 Blood Shard Prices
Linkkitch compiled a spreadsheet that shows the average blood shard "price" of each Legendary when gambling based on the latest patch, and shared it on Reddit. He used the 2.1 Legendary Drop Ratio (spreadsheet) data to put together a spreadsheet that will give you an estimate of how many shards (again) on average it should take for a player to get a specific item, based on its rarity! Check it out by clicking on the banner.
"Hey There Kadala" Parody
dreamreaver23 made an awesome musical parody about the lovely Reaper of Souls' gambling merchant. Not much to be said, other than go watch it!
Else than that, gives pretty good picture on what should be the thing to gamble.
26.663 42.900
Does this mean I should (4/5 chance) see it within 42.9 pulls of 1-handed maces?
riiiight.... i will play again next season. not only is the season already taking too long but its already conduit based ranks, for ppl like me who do the grifts 38+ in an honest way and without a furnace i think its extremelly retarded to see conduit farming.
blizzard made seasons so that the ladder reflected the skill a player has. more skilled players show up higher on the ladder, unfortunatly what they are presenting us is a farm the conduit get first in the world! season, as they created content that its impossible to do without such pylons (and here i actually blame the creative team, as instead of hp/dmg only scaling i saw plenty of ideias on the forums that would make the game much much more fun in this regard). bad game design and xp xploits being possible this far into the game still amazes me. little by little it destroys one of the game i love the most.
EDIT : I did get an Odyn Son today... but it was no good.
Drop rates are already hundred times if not thousand times better than vanilla.
