Djindjin has put together a very handy tool, hosted on bulgarian fansite D3BG.org, that calculates what will be your resulting Paragon level once the Seasonal experience is merged with the live one. Check it out!

Alkaizer Rank #1 Crusader

Alkaizer is not only playing a seasonal character on Patch 2.1, he is also breaking records with it. He managed to reach Rank #1 (US) with his seasonal Crusader by finishing a Level 41 Greater Rift, and uploaded the run to youtube. Watch it below!

as opposed to smashing your wet noodle into the mobs or playing on a lower difficulty to remove risk of death? hardcore isn't exactly impressive anymore

gotta realize. they go by experience. its different from going to 1-30 than it is from 30-60. at least the experience transfers over.

that paragon chart doesn't seem right after 800 every level is 122.4 mil

say you end the season with paragon 300

which is 626mil so you should get about 5 levels if you've made it over 800 on nonseason but the calculator says you only get 3

626mil/122.4 is 5. What's worse is say you've got paragon 990 on nonseason your 300 seasonal only translate to 1 level. it should still be 5 unless I don't understand. Am I missing something?

Nah, it's right. 300 season going to 990 > 991 non season sounds right. I'm 671 non season and 271 season and it puts me at 677 (6 levels) non season.

Every level after 800 is 122 million additional experience. Paragon 800 is 43 billion by itself also remember every paragon level you start at 0 experience.

Paragon 300 is 626 million, for that 1 level. Total experience earned at 300 is 76 billion.

If you want to do the math yourself take your seasonal paragon level total experience and add to your non seasonal total experience, using the column on the right.

Wasn't Greater Rifts supposed to be the same difficulty for both softcore and hardcore? Reaching 3x+ on hardcore should be far more impressive than reaching it on softcore.

Are you referring to what Alkaizer used in the video?

It's the standard Raekor's Legacy build - with the element depending on how good are your rolls on other slots (Amulet, SoJ, Cindercoat/Magefist, etc); with Fire dealing the most damage, as far as I know.

I don't think top players spoof their profile (aka, "hide" what they really use when playing by changing their builds) too much anymore, so you can probably check his BNet profile to see the item and skill build being currently used. You can also check other players on the leaderboards for that matter.

I confused it with the top Barbarian build that was featured a couple days ago! My bad. You can still check his profile for details on the build, or just watch the video tbh.

So a boss who does nothing but stand there has 21bil hp on g41 yet saxtris (snake who constantly summons adds and tornados) has 33bil on g38? Sometimes you gotta wonder about the devs, they cant really be this clueless can they?

Wow, my bad. I completely mixed up Alkaizer's video/build/class with the top Barbarian featured a couple days ago. It's probably obvious for anyone reading my comment, but a mistake nonetheless.
