Currently, all characters of the same type (i.e. Normal/Hardcore) will contribute equally to shared Paragon levels. (Source)

I hope i'll get an answer for this: should trans/enchanted items will be account bound or sellable through ah? would like to be BOA
TBD on whether enchanting will bind an item. Currently thinking yes, but that may change as development continues. (Source)
For transmog, also still TBD. Currently, you just unlock appearances and apply those appearances to items via the Mystic UI. (Source)

Could you please confirm that a decimal will be added for items we are adding to auction house or trade window in game?..
We indeed have plans to add commas in the Trade and Auction House UI. (Source)

just 3 simple qns. hope You can reply to it :)
1. Any new followers?
2. followers new max lvl = 70?
3. any unique follower items?
1) No new followers; we're expanding the stories of the existing ones, though. Time to learn more about Covetous Shen! (Source)
2) I believe followers will have a new level cap, too. Don't think it's 70; will have to double-check. (Source)
3) None that I know of any off-hand, but our designers are still in the process of creating lots of items. So, TBD! (Source)

Ty for all the D3 info. Seen nothing on MP (Monster Power) levels. Will they also be infinite like paragon levels?
No plans to have infinite MP. (Source)

What happens to our current ilvl 63 gear, the new ilvl is 73 I assume? They essentially become worthless when RoS comes out.
There will be a new iLvl, yes (because that makes the most sense w/raising the lvl cap). Currently, it's 70, tho, not 73. (Source)

Female crusader looks like Buffy. Totally playing her to 60 before anything else.
Crusaders have a pretty dark (or "Spartan," as Kevin Marten calls it) sense of humor, too. Very Buffy-like indeed! (Source)

Gamescom 2013 Blizzard Costume Contest Winners

Last Saturday at gamescom 2013 in Cologne, Germany, more than 30 truly epic contestants gathered from all over Europe for this year's world-renowned Blizzard Costume Contest.

The artistry and craftsmanship of the contestants was truly a sight to behold, and you can check out photos from the event and learn more about top three winners below!

The Blizzard costumes showcased at gamescom2013 have never been better. In fact, this year they were so good that the judging panel, made up of Blizzard game developers, had an incredibly tough time selecting the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. After much deliberation and debate, three talented victors emerged and were rewarded handsomely for their craftsmenship!

Third Place:
In third place, winning a Diablo III mouse, Diablo III headset, and Diablo III mousepad (all by SteelSeries)—plus a super-rare Mini Tyrael statue from BlizzCon 2011—was Christiane L. for her costume of a Wizard from Diablo III. Inspired by Wei Wang's iconic piece, Christiane's costume was made of cotton, silk, leather, synthetic leather, and various lining materials.

Second Place:
Just missing out on the First Place prize, but still going home with a fantastic AlienWare 14 laptop, SteelSeries World of Warcraft MMO Gaming mouse, and Mini Tyrael statue, was Lisa L. as Sister Benedron, a powerful Human Priest from Azeroth. You may recognize this gorgeous costume from Series 3 our officially-licensed DC Unlimited: World of Warcraft action-figure line.

First Place:
But the judges' favorite costume this year was a larger-than-life male Barbarian from Diablo III, created and worn by Ralf Z. When not brandishing his exquisitely-made weapons or taunting the crowd with fierce battle cries, Ralf admitted he was thrilled to be awarded the top prize of an all-expense-paid trip for two to BlizzCon 2013, taking place this year on November 8-9. This prize is courtesy of Blizzard and our sponsors, J!NX and SteelSeries.

Congratulations to all of our finalists and winners! Be sure to visit our official gamescom 2013 site for additional photos, contest results, news, event information, and more.

The Sculptures of Chanapat Srinakkarin

While this epic collectable quickly sold out, it left a lasting impression on one incredibly talented fan artist who decided that his own Barbarian statues could use a little company.

This week’s Artisan Showcase features fan artist Chanapat Srinakkarin and his astounding sculptures of the Diablo III Demon Hunter, Monk, and Witch Doctor! His sculptures were created to the same scale as Sideshow's Barbarian sculpture to form an assembly of heroes poised to defend Sanctuary. Chanapat put a lot of painstaking detail into his sculptures, and not only are the figures covered from head-to-toe in exquisite armor and props, but they are armed to the teeth with weapons that lust for demon blood.

If that wasn't enough, the figures rest on carefully-sculpted bases that feature everything from discarded demon bones to rocks, skulls, and more. Check out all the details below!

If that's still not enough for you, some of heads are interchangeable, such as the face on his fierce Witch Doctor.

Chanapat was kind enough to share an variety of photos with us, and we encourage you to take a look at each of them in order to take in the full scope of his incredible sculpting and painting talent.

Chanapat hopes to create a Wizard sculpture to round out the five heroes of the original Diablo III, but he first wants to level up his own Wizard and do some research about what armor and weapons he wants his Wizard sculpture to wield.

Which are your favorite pieces that he's created? What about your favorite detail on one of his sculptures? What armor and weapons would you like to see him sculpt for his Wizard sculpture? Let us know in the comments below!

Are you working on any Blizzard fan art? We'd love to see it over in our Community Creations forum!
