shamelessly stonlen from Reddit comments
TWO MONTHS?? :((
Well, at least we know a date
Already planning how I'm going to be skipping uni with my exams approaching around that date.
I hear you man, but honestly it feels good to know that it's not being released after my holidays are over as well. That way we can rock out hard after our exams.
But even better: finally a release date!
Well done...
Not.
All that is downloaded is the installer executable, so don't believe it if someone claims to have data-mined something from the Diablo III client.
its 8 gigs. so its not just the installer. and i think someone will hack it before release and we'll get a big datamined info wave
negative this stuff is encrypted BIG BIG BIG TIME. someone CANNN get lucky, but we are talking LUCKY AS HELL.
People coulnt even decrypt the WoW movies that get added in patches, this game client is x100 more secure.
if this happens, its by pure pure luck. Dont count on it (if it does, then hell yeah, but dont count on it)
well the type of person who can hack it doesnt really spend time playing world of warcraft or diablo...... at least the people that ive met that have that kind of knowledge had no interest in video games.
it has nothing to do with free time, they have to run though all types of decryption (all automated easily), it can take years to get it fully decrypted, if ever.
lulz. OK molster. whatever u say man
