Witch Doctor - Acid Cloud Runed
While some of you may have seen these already, we wanted to share with you the Witch Doctor's Acid Cloud runed. The Obsidian rune is not featured. Disclaimer: Please keep in mind some effects or graphics may be missing or not be working correctly!

Bashiok replied to a couple of questions asked on Twitter.

Will Gheed or gambling be making a return in Diablo 3?

Neither. Although crafting has enough randomization that it's pretty close to D2 gambling. (Source)

In regards to Inferno, will we have to go through the whole game another time, or can we start farming anywhere, such as Act IV?

You will. Current design is that it will not all be available at the start, it will function like previous difficulties. (Source)

What happened to the BlizzCasts, it's been quite some time since the last one? Can we expect new episodes?

Hrm that's true. We were planning to have one for the #D3 release. We all now where that is...

Diablo Lore - Part 3

Regarding Bashiok's reply on Inferno does he mean that once we complete the difficulty of Inferno we can start farming directly anywhere at the difficulty afterwards like D2?

I believe the question was if after Hell, people could jump in anywhere in inferno to farm, which was no, but once inferno had been completed you could jump in at any point and farm just like D2. I might be wrong but that's how I read it.

Woohoo, Good news about the battletag changes.

I haven't been able to use the ID "Mikuro" ever since it went live which is hindering my ability to play beta... good thing i did multiple play throughs before they activated the BattleTag requirement. I'd just pick another name but the website straight up says choose carefully, you likely won't be able to change it and i've used the one I want in games for years.

This topic has been beaten to death. Im lazy so I wont bother posting the forum links to it... go look for it. But basically when the game comes out, staffs and wands and all that provide a damage bonus that a 2H sword would not thus its best to use caster weapons if you are a caster.

WD doesn't exactly scream 2H Zweihanderblade of death!? Hopefully staves and what no will balance this..
I doubt at higher level gear, you are going to see a lot of two handers that will help with mana regen, give extra arcane power or help with casting speed, etc. I think your go to build for a wizard will always be a 1 hander and a book/orb offhand. Witch Doctor would be the knife/doll set up. I see lots of videos like that already. Plus they'll also talked about weapons having procs and flavors to them - I doubt any 2-handers will have caster friendly procs.

It is one of the things I've noticed about the game though. That and the lack of strength needed for heavy armors. It's a bit weird to imagine a level 60 wizard running around in plate mail. But I guess it'll happen.

Also, Acid cloud is the best looking runed skill I've seen thus far. Looks fantastic. Not sure of the point of the dead dude popping out of the ground, but oh well.

What level are those runes? I was just wondering if the skill animations change or looks stronger with the level of the rune.
